THE ICONIC

The Iconic is a vibrant and super fast paced company to work for. There are plenty of exciting new projects always a foot and plenty of process improvements requiring testing and retesting. Unlike many other companies there isn't too much politics, staff just roll up their sleeves and get into it. With the new addition of Legal & Risk, The Iconic has seen some positive changes from operating as a small start up to becoming a company to take notice due to robust policies. The Tech division are always on the pulse and help implement efficient and seamless processes. The Finance team provide brilliant and informative support to the wider business on all things finance and business analysis. Senior Management, although busy, always have time for an acknowledging smile and they are super approachable. Our CEO keeps everyone informed weekly on major achievement, upcoming events/ targets and minor mishaps. The numerous doggies, sample sales & staff health activities are always fresh and fun and there are plenty of opportunities for staff to learn or advance their career with the help of our friendly P&C group! The Iconic isn't just a place of work but a collective group of people who are easy to call "friend" or even "family"!

If you look at the review posts prior to 2017, you will see they are all positive. Because it was true and that’s what ICONIC was all about but NOT ANYMORE! 

2018 was the worst year at The Iconic regarding the team morale at the FC, ever since Orson and Lupimia left... everything went downhill. 

It’s not about the team anymore, it’s about money and greed. The “free food” is cheap and yuck now. 
FYI agencies used to eat with ICONICs not anymore. 
The “great culture” died when Orson left and in my opinion, if you decided to work at The Iconic....
Team INBOUND is the way to #go&grow.

It’s corrupted now, it’s sad. 
So many people getting fired on spot while others get “second chances”- it really depends if management likes you or not. 

A place that started off to inspire me to grow, now has inspired me to leave & now I have. 

I miss the old ICONIC and the Inbound Leaders,

I thank ICONIC for my experience but if the favouritism, corruption & if the “one rule applies for all” happens for ALL DEPARTMENTS then ICONIC will return to what it was; Great.

There is a lot of walking involved so it helps if you're somewhat fit or if you want to get fitter. If you're very unfit or a little overweight you will likely struggle. It's a very simple job once you get the hang of it and it's mostly light items like clothes, shoe boxes and cosmetics.

 The plus for me is that it's a big warehouse with a lot of other people picking orders. Although you will cross paths with other pickers a lot you can focus on picking and don't have to talk to anyone. Great job for an introvert. 

The biggest downside of the job is that picking doesn't stay busy all year round. If you're a casual your shifts will fluctuate each week. After the busy period November and December, you will get maybe one or two shifts a week in January or not even one full shift in a week. Even when it does start to pick up again in February and March and the months after,  shifts will fluctuate.

This job would've been almost perfect and gotten a 5 stars if I could just work there as a picker and get full time hours. But that's how it is with clothing stores. They go through constant ups and downs and only few periods throughout the year where it's really busy. 


A day at work is very on your feet and fast paced.I learned how to pack an order at a fast pace, while making sure the order is correct. I also learned to consolidate the walls which I had to make sure that all the items for the order is there, ready for the packers to pack. As I was keen to work hard, and work whenever I could, I was on call, and wouldn't know if I was working during the week or not. At The Iconic, everyone does their best to get the work done to reach KPI's, so there is not much talking during the process, but there is music to listen to while we pack. The hardest part of the job would be reaching KPI's, as it can be tiring standing for hours, or there is not much work on your side so you have to walk to a batch of orders that takes time to walk to. The most enjoyable part is being able to reach high KPI's, and meet new people.

I have so far had a lot of fun working at the ICONIC. Most of the people (nearly all) are fantastic humans. The CEO is really new still but I think she has a great potential to clean the place up. The place is in desperate need of accountability. "We celebrate failure".

At least in my department, so much of the data is one step away from completely made up. Everybody in the department knows it, but are not allowed to say anything for threats of retribution.

There is so much finger pointing across the entire company, passing the buck as to why we are missing targets. It makes me really sad because, to everyone in data it is obvious that it is because the company is running off of fake news. Well, intricate but fake report metrics anyway.

Currently looking for another job.

I've been an agency worker for Iconic for over 2 years now and they just sent a message to EVERY agency worker saying that we are "immediately dismissed", no warning no heads up nothing! With this Covid issue happening I find it so disloyal and disheartening that when they ask so much of us we give and they can't even give us the same fairness/equality. So much favoritism, Returns team leader to current date 25/03/20 hasn't done much since that grey hair girl left and it's just so bad.  Marketplace is the same NO loyalty!!!!!

THE ICONIC is a great company. 

My journey started of amazing, I was inspired and driven to be like my leaders and fellow colleagues until the entire Leadership changed and now it isn't the same.

It's honestly about who you know and who likes you back regarding Management Level.

If you only want to get your mula and work then get out, it's the place for you.

If you want to work your way up, good luck!

Make sure you are a puppet.

Unless you are desperate, as I was, don`t do it. Many of the people are narcissists, most of the management just pass the buck down the chain (or sideways) and blame others. Managers are petty and love to wield their power. One of the most fake/BS cultures in a work environment I have ever experienced. They loved nothing more than playing favourites.

When COVID hit they had us in on the Monday, and then, fired us all, without notice by Wednesday, refusing to help anyone with Jobkeeper.

Working as a return processor for nearly 5 years. I've learnt how the Warehouse Industry is going on. But unfortunately, the management is really poor. The culture is toxic. The hardest part is dealing with bad environment and the some rude people. The most enjoyable part is work and life balance are really good and staff discounts once you become the staff of The Iconic.
