very flexible work life balance eg. the ability to swap shifts between staff very easily and flex up picking up double shifts fairly frequently
very hard to secure anything but casual work although ongoing and at an above average pay rate job security was hard, not hard to keep the job just hard to get anything but casual, hours were allocated to previously contracted employees on an agreement that secured them minimum  of  4 shifts a week with first chance at extra work.
This was frustrating as a lot of the staff on this contract had service since 1988 and were due or past retirement there skill set was diminished (eg. hearing and speed/accuracy failing) due to call centre staff being made redundant (the call centre closed) they didn't look at what i believe was the best interest of the brand and customer satisfaction, especially with the huge brand end/changeover, when the company went from UBET finishing forever to TAB QLD.


My team and immediate manager were great. Senior management after Tabcorp/Tatts takeover had no clue about service. New senior management team restructured the entire services division and support structures prior to demerger resulting in jobs for the boys being created P&C did not care as they allowed it to occur.

Fair working conditions , a few leaders loved to micro manage - managers hired internally some did not even know how to manage - other then that best place to work - very flexible

Experienced staff very helpful. Friendly atmosphere. Good casual rates offered for work during the week, Saturday's and Public holiday. Travel allowance given   .

One of the best places I have worked for culture and team collaboration. Although they are a large company they still have a long way to go with corporate maturity but they are moving in the right direction.

Good company to work for... alot of areas of employment...nice people   , very friendly and helpful .
Show initiative and you'll go places. An interesting in sport and racing is a huge plus

I enjoy working in TABCorp as it gives me an opportunity to move around and talk to people. I love this because I’m people’s person, who loves to interact and help out customers.

Used to be a good place, but steadily going down hill.
Management is too busy covering their own  backs and always looking to squeeze the workers.
Products are old and failing.

Okay enough place to work, but was sad to see such talented staff stuck in a call centre. Management was hands off but travel was convenient. Mot the worst place if you're needing to make ends meet. 

Salary is average, work and managers are ok. Culture seems to be different depending on which department you work in. There seems to be a change in structure quite frequently
