I'll cut to the chase, it gives you 100 different amazing skills such as being punctual, fast,accurate,friendly Deamear ,multitasking etc...  it really is a fun place...

As they  say people do not quite places but management, unfortunately this is far from  5 star the way managers conduct themselves is not professional, they seem to overlook everything and over all could be better at the managers role/duty

Their is only a hand full of quality people who run this hotel amazingly and who I respect to the core and those people make the hotel welcoming.

Truth be told, they need further development in changing as I believe they just need to grow and try to be a better team like being professional, giving people chances , not over working staff and a migh higher pay rate.

Would I recommend people to work there, at this stage, No, due to the lack of professionalism however if you attend and find things have changed, it's a job I'd say to do for the rest of your life.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
micro-management, favoritism, everyday long-hour shifts, work-life balance only on paper, and all staff events are held according to senior management, supervisor/manager awards given to HOD, I am very disappointed, not feel like a 5-star property.... NOT RECOMMENDED TO ANYONE.

This is my first job. I've learned a lot from this company, from basic job to the next level of the job. I'm very blessed and thankful to the company because I had a growth of my career from being a food server to restaurant captain.
Working overseas is the hardest decision to do. You will learn to be independent and you will be meeting different types of people. 
The company is active in any activities which I enjoyed most like for example (Dinner and Dance, Cycling, Run for Hope, and etc.)
The most challenging in the workplace was when we lack of manpower that needs us to work 16 hours a day. And when we encountered guest complain. As a team we always find a way to accomplish each and every daily operation.

So, when I stay in this hotel, I could learn numerous valuable things such as respect each other, customer care , and timework together..Especially I would like to talk about profssional service mind. Because, Our hotels' number of room is almost 1000... So , some time , I could face huge work ... But, my time members could stay balance and then I would realize for professional form of work place...As a result I could improve my hotel management carrer more.. 
and usually, I was work 6days per week



I learned that despite having few staff to help the team work on a busy afternoon, it's still all about good communication with the rest of the team and great service skills. I work with different types of people and their culture and that's what I love doing. Also listening to many many guest sharing their stories about travelling and working at the same time. The hardest part of my job is when I don't get all the access and facilities equipped for my shift. However it's still a working progress.

I start my duty 8:30 am,I am a team leader and I have long experience with this filed.
we learned every day something new challenges,
Our manager and supervisor are very helpful and provide us a clear task every step by step.
The hardest part of our work is managing time and a quality service providing our guest,sometimes need to make a quick decision myself for better result.
The most enjoyable part of the my job is  that when our customers positive feedback about our service.

I have work there for long time and know everyone there. There are like my second house in Australia because of everyone nice and help each other if someone don’t know something their not complain but their explain how to fix the solution. All I really love that workplace

Working at swissotel was terrifying. On my first day I was scolded and told off for small mistakes by the manager that walks around and always has something to say. It felt like being at school, when you cant talk back and explain yourself. The others were lovely and supportive though. 

it is great company to work with, I enjoy working with my fellow managers and especially my staff, hope have been always loyal, to me and to my department, and I always hard the opportunity to interview my own staff, training them and see how they develop and improvement over the months and years.

A great way to learn experiences in the front of house office not recommended for long term employment but can be useful for other careers into corporate hospitality sourrounding areas.
