Came to the role to fill in for a maternity cover and if I didn't need the work wouldn't have accepted the role. Manager came 30 mins late to the casual interview and they tried to make it like others were being interviewed to make me sweat a little as I found out later - saw the red flag early. Departments all work separately and not collaboratively leading to issues all the team with customers. Rest of my time there was just a waste and head management hardly ever acknowledged staff which shows the kind of culture there. One day I'm brought in and with no warning just let go which was a blessing.  

Job involves field activities that vary on day to day basis. Management is supportive to personal needs, and career growth.
Workplace culture encourages feedback and improvement of work related functions.
Job requires walking but adds to the health benefits of working outdoors.
Flexible work schedule.

I worked at Sutherland for 10 years, worked hard, won internal and external awards for my work - yet was being paid less than what most councils pay for entry level staff in my field. 
The team culture was a hierarchical  clique, tall poppy syndrome was rife, and resulted in years of bullying. The team leader did nothing to help the situation. Leaving was the best thing I’ve ever done.

Great team and well diverse bunch of people great to work along side, hours are good and the pay is ok but needs to be more communication with some management staff other than that great work life balance.

It was stressful at times no communication between staff at all. It made me confused about shifts and not confirming if it was canceled. Not all of the centers were like this but it was enough for me to leave.

Stutherland shire council is a great place to work. You are paid fairly with you being paid for ever minute you work. You get no hassle from management. Work life balance is absolutely great. Simply great place to work.

.  Nor cooperative work

Staff I worked with were proactive, hard working, collaborative and adaptable. A true pleasure to work with this group.
I found management to be approachable and always felt comfortable with any interactions.

Good working colleagues made this company a good start to my planning career. Good work-life balance and benefits for a first job. Was able to be a part of different teams and learn more than 1 discipline within planning.

Great Team at the lower level , however at the top beyond direct mangers becomes very political and be a challenge at times. However the team culture and the way team go together are great.
