If you an elderly person trying to top up your pension then perfect job for you. cause the promise at interview is that within 3 months you will be given a full time position. however in truth it takes over 12 months to get a position cause you must await someone to leave a full time position before it gets filled. For that 12 months you will be on school runs which is 20 hours a week however be very aware that those 20 hours is split shifts 2 hours in morning and 2 hours in afternoon 5 days a week.

Every day was a different challenge from drivers to Translink issues.
Complaints about drivers and service was always a difficult task to rectify due to comprehensive investigations revealing truths.
Co workers always worked extremely hard to solve issues and a credit to them.
Operation team meetings  to discuss better ways to improve service and overcome issues.

I enjoy working, particularly transporting people to work, shopping, to the doctor. Anywhere. Airconditioned, comfortable work environment. Stable work place. Clean and pleasant work. Responsible for lots of people and their safety makes for a very good focus when at work. 
I enjoy this kind of work.

Passengers were rude and demanding, management took their side instead of the drivers side. Passengers were disrupticve Non payment of overtime. No time sheets, no pay slips. Unfair dismissals are common. Wage theft is common. No meal breaks, no toilet breaks, nowhere to wash hands. Passengers were disruptive and caused chronic late running every day. Its a sweatshop Give  this one a miss.

It has been a pleasure working for this company for the past 7 years
But the support from management and our community is not there.
My safety is as jeopardy every day
The morale is slowly wearing with every attack and dis honor shown

I love the job but iv been doing this job for 22 years and just wish to do something else and be more physical
Surfside Buslines has always been good to me with training and  uniform annual leave and sick leave the pay at Surfside Buslines is good and always great Christmas awards nights 
 But to be honest I'm board.

Lot of stress, no help from management, they didn't want to know , more interested in making a dollar, any public incidents were not treated correctly,  mechanics were excellent,  refuelling guys were excellent,  cleaners done a great job, a lot of favouritism

Was Given the sack while trying to provide for myself and my husband who is undergoing procures for brain cancer, they had no logical or reasonable excuse for sacking me and now we are fighting to keep our house, thanks for nothing Surfside. Don’t go near these mongrels.

They dont care about there drivers, they take the public's word over there drivers unless it's for the driver. 
The busses are very old aircon dose not work in alot of the school buses making the kids feel sick and clostafobic  felt bullied and stressed out

This work place does not care about their drivers nor have respect for them. There is no support and they will leave you out to dry. It's not a place I would recommend they are very unprofessional.
