Supabarn Supermarkets

Through my years working at supabarn, I exceeding in all the departments including cash office. For the most time I was the acting checkout manager, which included ordering stock, managing a team of up to 20 at a time and rostering.
I worked very closely to the store manager, but if anything were to go wrong, even if I wasn't the one at fault, I would be thrown under the bus.
The management team, as well as anyone higher, would always put the blame onto other people rather than facing their own mistakes head on.
Overall it was an excellent place to kick start my career and I did learn a number of life lessons, but I was glad with the Coles take over

A typical is basically the same for me on tills clock on count till, swap till with someone clocking off and serve customers I feel safe and can joke everyone with people, managers very most being very straight forward and give advice as well as being someone you can joke around with, very enjoyable working place :)

It was an ok place to get some work experience but I wouldn’t have stayed as long if I’d found another job. 
I didn’t really find it a good place to make friends but that might’ve just been because I was a bit older than most of the people they hire 
But the turnover rate is also really high, most younger people don’t stay for very long

Supabarn Supermarkets provided me with a great opportunity to develop my skills in management by requiring the management of a decent sized team (10+ staff) on a nightly basis, including people management, time management, organisation, resource and financial management.

I've working at Supabarn for a few years as a part- time front/end assistant manager. the best part is my team which are fully committed to deliver an excellent customer service. However sometimes there are some issues to attend such as,  unsatisfied customers; but I always manage to provide a solution for them.

a typical work day is helping customers as much as you can. everyone in management were great. most of the co- workers were really nice and easy to get along with. the hardest part of the job was   not knowing how the customers would react to you not being able to help them as much as you would like to with products.

Good company culture, fun and light-hearted workmates, but management is horrid. They don't care about your life or if you have any external responsibilities. Incessant calling 24/7 to fill in other people's shifts even when you have N/A'd days.

It was a good place to work, fast paced and full of duties to do.
The management changed while i was there and I definitely preferred one set of managers to another. Overall it was a very good place to work and learn skills.

My time at supabarn was very hard working and demanding but it was a very good workplace as staff and management were great. The hardest part of the job was being able to finish on time.

The team at SUPABARN was  energenic , friendly and supportive to me and my work I enjoyed working the cash register .The team I was working with was great.
