If you are capable, there are hundreds of better places out there that will have you in a heartbeat without the unnecessary stress and headaches that this place will bring to your life. The manager will tell you anything and everything to get you through the door and then turn on you in a heartbeat. The list below explains your future day to day life if you wish to ignore the warnings:

- From a tech POV,  management has no idea what they are doing. Entire IT functions are currently outsourced to more capable MSPs. Soon the entire department will be outsourced also.
- Silo mentality across the board and departments.
- Awful management, especially in the SYD office. 
- Micro managed daily 
- Employees operate on a lower brain frequency than most
 - No trust  
- Non-existant HR 
- Presenteeism 
- Office politics and nepotism
 - Old boys' club and very cliquey
 - Living in the past 
- IT systems are years behind industry standards 
- No training, processes or documentation
 - No respect for your time or respect in general
 - Contractors get treated like dirt

A normal day ay work would include coordinating export and domestic requiremnts for the site, this involved fumigation of product, sourcing shipping containers, rail rolling stock and road transport.
I learned the fundimentals of logistics in this role. the management team were very down to earth and supported staff at all time. the co-workers were very friendly and it was a great place to work.
The hardest part of the job was being made redundant due to the drought in 2007. the most enjoyable part of the job was being able to train other staff in the various roles within the warehouse/ supply chain environment

Nothing, mould and dirty working conditions. People are not friendly.

People treating me like I'm different and unsafe practices.

Disgusting, animals in a zoo get treated better and people make you unwelcome

Stressful, unsafe and very hard on my mental health

The work isn’t hard and the money is great. There are some good people but they are usually ruined after a year or two. The culture is incredibly toxic and bullying is an accepted practice and used by management to move people they don’t like. Nepotism is a very big part of the culture and if you want to go far with the company all you need is a mate with connections.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
It’s busy day. We work on fast pace but i enjoy it

A typical day at work started early/late as it was shift work. I learnt more then anything how to efficiently manage machinery to achieve the best output of product available. The management was not professional and not willing enough to fix even small problems. The culture is very shallow as there is no real progression. The hardest part of the job was working with what we had. The most enjoyable part was working with mates.

Sadly company is greatly impacted by macro factors such as weather and water availability, and abrasive culture.

Lacking people managers that engage and lead.  Questionable behaviours by some.

it had its challenges like all jobs and it was really good, management and people were awesome. I only had to leave because they are going through a rough patch with no rain and the rice growers. if thatwas not going on I reckon I wold still be there.

The jobs are not overly difficult but the tools & equipment provided do not meet the standards for the required job. All positions are vulnerable from packer to site manager (revolving door)

This job was a really amazing learning experience that taught me how to work with all sorts of people as well as teach me more about how to balance work commitments with other commitments.
