Some people are ungrateful, even when you help them.
Immediate Management aren't very helpful, but higher Executives are great to work for.
We are a small band of employees in Accounts Receivable and we all get on very well, both at work and socially.
The hardest part of the job is when someone on a pension and with an incurable disease calls in because they have received an account they weren't expecting and I can't make it go away and they start crying on the phone and I have to tell them that they still have to pay.
The best part of the job is when someone cries when you fix their account and they don't have to pay anything. I received a personal Christmas Card from one patient because she was so grateful I was able to help her.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The fact that your basically your own boss, I enjoyed night driving, meeting new people, making new friends, and being praised for your work at the end of your shift.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Road works and traffic accidents doesn’t make a courier drivers life easy, makes getting to where you want to be later and then puts you behind in your work schedule 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
They’re on top of all of all of those things, emails, hard copies, keeping us all up to date regarding the company’s future plans etc.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Always busy, but I felt rewarding.

Management unsupportive and has a strong element of bullying especially immediate manager. In my particular area.
Team people are great amazing lot of people to work with.
Overworked and not paid well for work involved.
They preach being able to upskill but do not give everyone that opportunity. New people promoted before long time staff.  Staff always told about mistakes but very seldom thanked for exceptional work. 
I never say never , but in this case I would never work for SNP again. 
Manager ruined a job that I loved.

My day would start with the clients lined up outside the clinic door, which I found rather daunting, as it was a very busy clinic and most days you were on your own. Management were not very helpful with this issue, although they understood the problem.  I learnt that no matter what, you had to keep calm concentrate on what you were doing and forget about the time factor.
The hardest time is when you are left alone all day without any help and the best time is when you achieved difficult test on a baby or child and everyone left the clinic smiling.

High turnover of staff, 
your always working with someone new with poor skill and not enough training. Constant changes in procedures are difficult to keep up with so it is easy to make mistakes,
Understaffed and underpaid 
Only time you hear from management is if you do something wrong,
 or they want you to work an extra shift.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Kind and patient with training. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Ensuring no mistakes that could delay someone getting the medical help they need.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Positive and polite, might take a while to get to know others if you are reserved.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Processing patient samples / request forms into database, checking info is correct, batching samples in a timely manner.

Typical big company; promises everything and delivers nothing. The patient services manager said that ‘they could teach a monkey to collect blood’. That tells you how they regard their frontline staff!
Constantly understaffed because the pay is too low and the responsibility too high. 

Horrible place to work at. The management are disgusting on how they treat their employees and their employees are two faced and never put their hand up when in the wrong they blame new employees. All two faced nothing nice to say. Management only think of themselves.  If you haven't been there for long they have it in for you from the start. Discrimated for being English as well as having tattoo and piercings. NEVER will recommend or having anything good to say about this place!

Exhausting fast paced environment but interesting.
I developed a greater understanding of this side of the medical field.
Management was seldom supportive when problems arose.
It is always "interesting" when the balance of gender favours one side.
The hardest part of the job was keeping on top of all the daily tasks let alone being asked to leave our work and help out in another area.
Pay day!

This company made an extreme amount of money during the pandemic. The staff are overworked and severely underpaid for their role.
Lower management are under stress from upper management which filters down to those in the front line. I worked for this company for 6 years, was a very reliable employee and didn’t even get as much as  a goodbye phone call from management. So disappointing.
