Stellarossa

The owner of my particular franchise of Stellarossa was great and wanted us to thrive. He threw is own money in when we weren't getting the business we needed. Stellarossa head office management sent a woman whom visited us only a handful of times and didn't help at all in any area. Eventually the owner went broke and we had to close. 

All in all I liked working there, however the menu was stupid and management didn't give a rats about us. The coffee is great and should be promoted more, and in my opinion the menu should be revised and staff training should be overseen by head office. I came in as a all rounder, and within a few months I was assistant manager and training the new staff because head office didn't send anyone to do it.

Absolutely toxic and passive aggressive, do not compromise your mental well-being for a job here. Invoices unpaid, constant stock shortages, appliances broken, understaffed, dirty and not well maintained. Management do not care about you and you will be treated poorly. You will be lied to. No respect for both staff and customers alike. You will have many upset customers due to the poor management here regarding stock shortages and being too understaffed to serve guests in a timely manner. The team here are constantly rotating because it is such a bad venue. 

Working here was extremely difficult, management is terrible and my mental health deteriorated so much after during work here. The staff were impeccable, however management are weak and unsupportive. Please save yourself the hassle of working here. Bills unpaid, management refused to help in times of need but showed no remorse when asking why things were going wrong. 

I do love my job. I have lots of regular customers who are all so lovely - so that is probably the best part of my job! But like every other job, you have both good & bad days. The thing i hate most is how employees clash when it come to procedures. One employee does something one way, whereas another employee does it another way. However, all ways are accepted so it does get frustrating. 

The work is extremely easy.

Very hard to do your job properly when adequate appliances and equipment aren't provided. 
Very little, if any training is given to staff and penalties, such as being blocked from public holiday and weekend work, apply to those who are older and on a higher pay rate.

Due to the poor mangement that I experienced at the Stellarossa that I worked at, there was a very negative atmosphere. The manager refused to convey to me what I would need to do in order to go from a trainee to a casual. When I did ask, I was belittled and simply told to wait. It was very stressful.

Extremely rude management. On my very first day, I was told I lacked confidence and was too slow — even though I was only there for 2 hours and all I was doing was washing dishes and cleaning tables. How can that be considered too slow? Very disappointing experience. Would not recommend if you are looking for a barista roll. 

Stellarossa was not enthusiastic about their workers and took a lot of workers for granted. the management did not put time into the other workers such as; teaching them coffee or food preparation they thought it was simply known but every workplace is different and should be tought to new employees.

I love working here. everyone is so nice and I always feel safe and have a great time working. staff and managers are fantastic. the pay is amazing and the regulars love us. never have a problem with this job
