St Johns Park Bowling Club

Casual relaxed atmosphere with busy production of great food friendly and supportive staff I was supported in all required roles and was paid accordingly 
I loved the way the staff worked together to achieve goals and back each other up in difficult situations 
All tasks are set out in the beginning of the shift then I was left to complete tasks accordingly 
At end of shift all would work together to set and prep for next shift which allowed for better results 

While I enjoyed working here it took its toll on my your family.  As a single mum working 5 nights a week and most weekends it was difficult for me to cook for them and take care of their needs.  Co-Workers were as a whole pretty fun to work with.  The hardest part of the job was the toll it took on my body.  Was physically demanding.  I loved working with the customers and especially loved the bar work.

No systems in place. Zero training provided at all, not even an induction to the company. Management kept on saying they wanted things to change but not willing to change anything or give staff the tools to help implement said changes. Doesn’t take care of good employees and environment was toxic (literally and figuratively; there was mould growing everywhere and holes in the ceiling.)

I really enjoyed walking around the gaming floor in a circle. Every time I walked into the circle  I had seen something I hadn't before. Circles are cool. I wonder if my friends are still there working in the circle place. I know that there are toilets inside the circle that my friend was once harassed in. yes circles. 

I had a wonderful experience working at SJPBC. It was fun and adventurous. The staff and management are friendly and easy going. With past retail and hospitality experience, I was able to fit in the club industry very quickly.

Toxic, No team work, favouritism by management and from the top, always short of staff on busy day, too many staff call in sickies, will hire anybody.

They pay well. More then other hospitality places. You can get a lot of money by picking up shifts. But you can't choose when you work. If you are available more you have more flexibility. Great people but get use to the hours. Can finish late. 

On a typical day, dealing with a multilingual customers and having to understand there needs, servicing them with the best customer service, room to develop your skills and grow.

Working at the Tuncurry Beach Bowling club they provide a professional, clean and safe  work environment.  There are opportunities to learn new skills and most of  the staff are friendly.

The staff work well together. The customers are friendly. The atmosphere is fast paced and understaffed but overall it was a good experience. The hours are all over the place, unfortunately.
