While there is a change in ELT occurring at the moment, the projects and teams are still focused on the company's strategic goals. 
There isn't a typical work day in my role. Being an innovative, ambitious organisation, there is plenty happening and initiatives to get involved in within corporate services. Going through a tech uplift- which is needed!

There is a very strong work culture of care and connection for each other and the community we serve.

They invest in Leaders: monthly leadership forums all leaders are invited to, to help understand what is happening across the business to help support leader in their roles and also to communicate with their teams. 



What is the best part of working at the company?
The people, the culture and the diversity.   

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Picking what to eat at the onsite cafe / restaurant for lunch, very spoilt for choice. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Work environment is a pleasure to be around, everyone from the team no matter which department or level is uber generous with their time and extremely accommodating.   

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
There is no typical day at the company, which makes it exciting and diverse.

The most enjoyable part of the work was the people that I worked with. Very friendly and coorpoerative. 

Did from Service Desk to IT projects to Stake Holder and Customer Management 

Very varied role.

Was a terrible place to work. Customers were great to deal with. Under new higher management now - and it has turned into a money making only - no care for staff kind of place. Indoor workers / office staff live it up and get all the perks and yearly  bonuses. while outdoor staff are let to fend for themselves. Poor working environment !!! 

Overall, the worst job I ever had. Focus on profits over workers and customers, despite claiming to be customer centric. An awful practice considering the industry. 
Staff were wonderful but management were toxic bullies, with no recourse with bullying behaviours by management or other staff members. 
Run, don’t walk, if you are offered employment here!

Very busy work environment!  Never a dull moment, no 2 days are the same.  Most enjoyable part of the job is helping grieving families.
Hardest part is it can be short staff on many occasions which can be stressful.  Management are very professional.

Beautiful grounds and head office but that’s where the benefits end. Everyone is really stressed all the time and they seem to fire a lot of new people before they reach their six months.

SMCT is a client-centric organisation with a deep and respectful understanding of various communities.

They offer excellent working conditions, flexibility and tailored training programmes.

Major bullying occurs in this company . Yo the point where half my dept was bullied out of their jobs and many left with anxiety and depression . Well planned company goals though HR is one sided

Part of   2 person team working with SMCT records manager on  3 month project sentencing legacy records.  Records to be moved to commercial storage in the near future.
