As 2IC at Sigma Pharmaceuticals customer service my day was spent between answering pharmacy's and following through with whatever they needed. I also needed to call quality control a team of up to 16 CSO's every week. I enjoyed being in a position of which I still understood what it was like to be a CSO on the phone but also to be involved with management and understand what Sigma as a company itself was trying to achieve. 

Sigma is a very unionised company all co-workers from all departments get along quite well and  are provided with many opportunities to communicate face to face through our on site cafe and various social events offered by sigma. Having 3 sites all inaugurate in October 2010 meant that many departments that may have only existed in one site were now all under the same roof.  This provided many more opportunities to get to know co-workers on all different levels. 

The hardest part of the job was meeting pharmacy's demands, or more so pharmacy's not knowing the back work that may needed to be done to get whatever product was needed for that pharmacy by whatever time was requested by the pharmacist.

The most enjoyable part of the job was the service I was able to provide to my customers and the pride I took in following through on what I've said I would whilst upholding sigma's code of conduct and work ethics.

Working at sigma or accepting any role at sigma can jeopardize future success despite good money .It has a bad internal culture. 90 percent of the staff is indian. Lots of favouritism. People for other ethnicity moght feel isolated. No diverse environment. NO transparency. No proper management. They follow hire and fire culture. Treatment towards the employees is very bad. 

No matter how talented the employees are retention is impossible. They are instantly fired. No training is provided. As a new employee if you go and ask the managers what work to do they get annoyed. They put new employees in A frame. Where there is no work to do. And expect you to act for the entire shift. Which is so frustrating and boring. They literally are paying people for doing nothing. Its my personal experience. No chance to learn. Proquest Agency and sigma company is   encouraging  students to work more than 20 hours which is purely illegal. I still dont get it why they want their employees to work slow ?? Do they make more money that way??

just to gain an experience in a pharmaceutical company 
All they are after kpi not a workers health and safety 
no kpi no shift.less staffs more work.brisbane sigma is worse to work favourable to their own people Islanders are dominating. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
no matter how much you work hard if you not a Islander you'll be still be labelled as a bad worker .

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
majorities are Islands they're always for they're own people I'll say family business. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
busy day and when the hard and heavy products on a floor to do .

What is the best part of working at the company?
Only best part is air-conditioned ,too many manager as a casual we get paid permanent rate when we do overtime which is a big ripped off

Management keep pushing to go faster with no errors 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It's not too bad  ,I couldn't stand working with the always heavy traffic going to work and home 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Everyday is different some  times they send us home early

It’s great for young ppl looking to start somewhere, a lot of young enthusiastic people that are easy and enjoyable to talk to, you’ll also be given chances to learn areas you’re inexperienced in like a forklift, epj, voice picking and Rf scanners. Management there is still fresh but should improve overtime, it’s a very easy job with a lot of variety of work.

typical day at work is usually busy packing boxes for chemist orders learned good skills and learned how to operate a wave and how the company runs.
my co workers are great made heap new friends the hardest part was beginning of the month absoulty flat out no chance to stop and sore feet but i love the job, is working as a team we all work so good together not much winging happens and we call laugh and makes the day go faster,

Not knowing if your job is safe as everyone wants you gone

Toxic and bad, do not ever stand out here or you next to go

Trying to stay busy and work on something

A typical day is noisy yet productive. KPIs are in place so everyone comes into work to produce. I thoroughly enjoyed the challenges. Management was extremely positive among all personnel. All things not transparent yet i seem to think its due to higher powers. The culture is a mix of races and all very encouraging. I just love working at Sigma.

The warehouse is air conditioned and dust free and a very comfortable environment to work in. I was provided with training in voice picking and machine operation with no experience. Supervisors are very kind and look after us. The warehouse is managed very well and communication between all workers and managers is great. Sigma makes it clear that safety is very important in the workplace and make sure that we work safe - go home safe.

Severely over managed,micro managed environment that does not reward initiative and knowledge with remuneration,low hourly rate for experienced staff members with overtime a plenty,  again without correct remuneration.
