I worked for these guys a very long time;  fair pay nice environment and great friends. The work was interesting enough. Unfortunately they wanted to rewrite the eBa with lower pay and conditions so they made us all redundant; built a new site; and employed casuals with a signing bonus to sign up the new Eba with what the company wanted it to have in it. Not a fun ending for me and lots of my colleagues who had put up to 30 years into the company and stuck with them through 12 plus managers in as many years; a legal battle and a CEO who was underreporting company debt which nearly cost the company it's life. But; that's the life. 

The transition from Compliant UK retail model to Australian pharmacy franchise was possibly one of the most difficult elements to overcome.  The support of the business allowed me to flourish in the role, exploring new ways to encourage the franchise partners to trust and implement layouts and activity.
Negotiation with suppliers given the size of the business required careful consideration, identifying the areas which would allow us to improve cost or promotional contribution, with the autonomous approach encouraged by the business.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Great team building and management is always looking after their employees. Everyone has a fair say and all are provided equal opportunities for growth.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The work load, but this can be helped from you team members.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very casual and light hearted conversation. Everyone has a welcoming personality.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Reporting, emails, phone calls. Very straightforward.

My experience at sigma was good until i got let go 2weeks ago. After they lost their contract with chemist warehouse they started to give us less hours and start sacking people for no reason. 
We had a team talk on sigmas progress we all asked questions about if our jobs were safe or not management lied in our faces and let go of some staff. 

Dont understand why they give all the newbies fulltime hours and give those that started with the company when.it open less hours,

The work is really easy to pick up and not too boring so it keeps you occupied. Was good team to work with the pay was around 26 an hour on which I was contracted casual. Overall I would definitely work here again but had to give it up due to relocation

This work place was a money making. I work 10 to 12 hrs a day, even though it was tiring but income was excellent. The management were very good at treating us employees. They do give us choice if we do want overtime if they know work has being overload during the week. Very fair treat and friend.

Operate & Use equipment, More on Reach Truck and Order Picker. On the statice picking is fast paced.The salary on afternoon shift was good. The place is managed well, between team leaders, supervisors and workers. The most important thing is they have high regard on the safety.

Responsible for Distribution of medical supplies and drugs to pharmacy that used Sigma as a distributor.
New account opportunities with-held by manager for self worth.

I loved working for Sigma  I have no complaints. Was sorry when my role became redundant.

Sigma is a relaxed company to work for, particularly in the office environment.  Very generous salaries.

I would say it was an awesome experience many friendly people staff/managers that made it feel homely. Overall great company to work for & i encourge any newcomers to this type of industry to start here :)
