Arriving at work, sometimes opening the store. Starting up computer systems and cash register ready for opening. Ensuring displays were well presented and restocking shelves. Greeting and serving customers as they arrive and explaining product key features and sometimes product demonstration. 
Co-workers were friendly as easy-going, as was management. All team members were approachable and helpful. The hardest part of the job was dealing with customers who assumed our position was more than selling adult products, and customers who insisted on returning used products.
The most enjoyable part of the job was that the environment was very friendly and open, yet there was a level of discretion to uphold. I felt I could be myself and was accepted as I am and not prejudged on my appearance at all.

This place will leave you run to the ground and crying. You’ll be expected to pretty much train yourself, you’ll get called on all your days off & they’ll expect you to start within an hour or two and if you don’t go in your job is on the line. Pay is eh, management doesn’t care, they just want money and have an extremely high turn over for staff. They do not care about their staff and if they are happy (which 85% of them aren’t and hate the place), they never check in on them, never do anything beneficial for their staff and expect you to do everything they say and do and it’s always their way or the highway. It’s really sad because it could be a fun job and some staff members are lovely but overall if the management and owner are terrible, then it makes it impossible to enjoy your job.  

Writing this review fairly is very difficult given the circumstances under which i worked. Coming in as a new employee  i was full of pep and keen to learn however i was constantly given little to no direction in terms of tasks despite asking multiple times. When taking my own initiative i was reprimanded for doing things was not asked to do. Night shifts are extremely quiet and usually there is nothing to do . 
Very very cliquey team because no one ever leaves..
Every time i was taught to do something i was monitored quite literally with someone over my shoulder, each person teaching a different thing.

It may sound like semantics but they were very real issues.
Also expect to be illegally forced to pay for your uniform :)

Staff and higher management are great to work with. Easy to learn the tasks at hand and enjoyable overall. Is an opportunity to upscale position title to Management.would come in open store count float make sure lights and tvs were switched on. then start the day by cleaning stock and shelving in store and serving customers. The hardest part of the job was to keep an eye on shop during the day as was only the one on staff. At times was boring as no one to talk to. The most enjoyable part of the job was customer satisfaction and completing task set for me to do by manager.

Other than a couple of good people at each store, the company is full of snakes and backstabbers who seem to focus on drama more than doing their actual job. Company management is full of great people but store managers are a different story, most of which care more about asserting their authority rather than improving the lives of employees.

Most of the stores can be pretty cruisy and fun to work with, and most of your coworkers are going to be great to work with.
Downsides are that some managers/coworkers can be very catty, and the new schedules enforced by head office are rigid and hard to work with.
There is also very little protection for workers when it comes to dangerous customers- especially with the late night shifts with only 2 people working and no security.

I worked here for three years, and while it was fun when I started, with a new manager it became obvious upper management didn't care about their employees at all. 2 1/2 years in, I questioned why I was being underpaid and when I mentioned fairwork, I was quickly transferred to another store. I believe this was to make me quit as they new it was too far for me to travel.
This happened to other employees also. 
While the job is fun and the girls are great, It's so not worth it.

Manager refused to talk to me. Conflict resolution consists of passive-aggressive company-wide emails and intimidation tactics. No penalty rates, regardless of night/weekend work. Managers literally watch cameras while not at work, and will call the store to chastise you. Just don't. The job is fun, but the conditions are the worst I've experienced. Apparently it's getting even worse now.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time working at this store. The women I worked with were amazing, knowledgeable and inclusive. I gained a lot of confidence and skills in communication/sales. Some coworkers had your usual workplace drama with management about shifts, but nothing out of the ordinary. 
In conclusion, I would go back to working there if I could! 

So much potential to be a fun workplace but staff and managers racist af, give you no training whatsoever and stores are dark, dingy, outdated. You will be hounded for trying to take a seat more than once during your 8 hour shift, and expected to work above your measly pay grade with minimal to no penalty rates for weekends and night shifts.
