Secure Parking

The first thing I noticed about the company was that they did not have a HR Manager or Department - I knew I was in trouble.
Then the people I met were useless and had no idea what they were doing, but had very long periods of employment - quickly i learnt that those that hang around do so becuase they would struggle to find alternative employment or that they were never managed and they felt it was an easy ride.
The senior management lacked any direction, did not say thank you an spent their days covering up their mistakes.
The culture is everybody sits around doing nothing and some do all the work.
No career prospects, losing sites everyday and the company isnt growing.
The is nothing difficult about the job.

If i started at 9am i would catch the train to the city in the office by 9am doing some General Administration and Date Entry till 1130am then i would make my way to city west carpark and start issuing fines to cars without parking tickets from 12pm untill 4pm and that was my day.

What i Learnt- how to fix Boom Gates, and Pay and display Machines.

Management- were unorganised and disfunctional with lack of communication.

Co-workers - were pretty good and understanding and could communicate.

Hardest Part of the job- Confrontation with people Issued Parking tickets.

Most enjoyable part- Home time

It was my part time job at Sydney Hilton car park while working at Zip Heaters Pty Ltd. It is always a busy night for all of us.
I have learned how to get along and  work with different culture back ground people.
Hardest part of the job is finding a spot for the car while waiting to be parked  when the carp park is full.  Prioritizing Hotels Guest is our main job without any delays. 
The most enjoyable part is were able to drive luxury and expensive cars around the block just to park them down into the car park
This job was able to help me save money for our down payment for our mortgage.

Was a good company to work for until they changed management and had machines replace me. What I did like about the work was the people I worked with. We all did get along. Before new management took over I got along with the old manager, we seemed to get the work done quickly because it was relaxed atmosphere. I learnt so much from the job and increased my skills with communicating with people plus my database and word and excel skills.

Working with secure parking Was not bad except management ,since Japanese took over things gone from bad to worse day by day ,managers have No idea what’s going on,everyone trying to save their job,one day you doing4 hr shift and next day it’s 10 hr and you won’t even get paid properly,they moved payroll to Manila from Sydney ,if anyone keen to work for secure please check your payslip every time you get paid .so far everyone has left management but not company .and they don’t appreciate how hard you work

Typical day would be answering inbound calls from all over Australia where people had received a parking ticket placed on their car and replying to letters and emails from customers.

The hardest part was trying to calm angry callers in order to help them. 

Nicest part of the job was when I could help them to ensure they knew how to comply with the terms and conditions of the car park to avoid receiving another ticket.

Job's pretty easy and hours can be all over the place. I've met a lot of good people here and some friends. Be careful with management though, they have clear favourites and are very biased. You either have to suck up to them or just cop it, but most of the management are good people. Just a few bad eggs that ruins the overall experience. If you're reading this, you know I'm talking about you ;)

While working with Secure Parking, i met alot in interesting people in all walks of life, which increase my confidence and i gained excellent customer service skills which im certain that you wont regret when you hire me as i know i can be an asset to your company and am also very loyal

WOW What a terrible company to work for!
Absolutely 0 support from the inept upper management. Misinformed upper management, fabricated lies by upper management to remove competent staff from key roles to further nepotism. TOXIC upper management that didn't care when staff took drastic self harm steps. When a company has such a high turn over of staff it shows the real colours of the company.

Physically because you have to learn quick in handling customer problems and how to managed. Learn priorities so no one gets blocked that is your job or else big trouble and misplacing keys is another thanks was trained early never happened on my shift.
