Typical day at work we start with a toolbox meeting and we are allocated  job cards, then off to work. Whatever job one does when he is finished with it he asks for another job in the middle of jobs we clean the area we worked on keeping the workshop clean. Whatever issue an employee has management is always there to listen and attend to the issue. Work is always easy as we have a good team and the team is always there to assist when one employee is struggling to find a solution to a problem on a particular job

The company is good, not great.

Expect to be busy, Scania has a massive fleet and aftermarket parts are almost non existant so be ready to work.

Expect management to be a bit dodgy with pay as well, they will give different people doing the same job massively different salaries. 

Overall the company is good, the dont really pay technicians fairly so they are always needing to bring new people in.


This was a temp position for only 2 weeks. A typical day would be to answer all incoming calls and redirect or handle the call accordingly.
Management and co-workers were all very helpful and understanding and no request appeared to be an issue.
The hardest part of the job was leaving when the 2 week temp contract finished.
The most enjoyable part of the job was meeting such lovely people to work with.

A new MD and CFO is replaced every 4-6 years which means company culture keeps changing, with that also comes restructuring. There is continual changing of job titles and job duties as new MDs want to change from previous structure or is dictated by Europe, whilst there are changes in your job most often there are no salary reviews regardless whether you have added duties.

And no respect for people in the company 
The company makes fake promises 
No it's the worst place to work
People in pre delivery section  such as the team Leaders verbally abuse each other there is not respect for people or there personal belongings 
There is nothing good about scania

Absolutely one of the best work placements i have had the opportunity to work for, i enjoyed every day and learnt so much, it fueled my passion for mechanics and has made me want to continue in my journey to one day become a fully qualified diesel mechanic.

Great working inviroment, good management my role was varied and rewarding started from Local Purchasing and ended up as project Coordinator of new premises around Australia and did all the Purchasing requirements for all the dealerships around all states

typical of a dealership, extensive product training, good product to work on with the correct tools and service information availiable, and good pay levels depending on your ability

I Love working for Scania the people here are like family.

I know what my task is every day and make sure that my work is always up to date. 

there is always a challenge and I love it.

Temporary job that lasted nearly a year and i am grateful for their kindness and trust. Great team to work with and being a part of the team.
