What is the best part of working at the company?
Regular runs to regular drops. Usually run up from Callington to hub in Bristol. Drop and swap trailer. One bay is tricky to get on (14, I think?). If empty trailer, run into Morrison's hub (off M.5.) or occasionally over into Wales for Tesco hub. Wait to be loaded or trailer drop/swap. Take load to various supermarkets in West Country.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Usually night work. M.5. can be busy and/or diversions. Not much help/advice from routers/managers at Bristol hub 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Callington drivers and shunters are very helpful and friendly

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Find out what run you're doing. Find unit and trailer. Hook up, do full checks. Drive usually to Bristol hub. Unload. Morrison's hub. Take load to a supermarket down West.

Place is full of “team leaders” who just try and bully people and then when challenges drop the “I’m a team leader” not a nice environment to work in at all and for the hours you work the pay is insulting. Highest staff turn around I have ever witnessed. I lasted 3 months and that was an absolute push for me to last that long. Do not recommend at all

Since I started with Samworth Brothers, working for Kensey Foods since July 29th, 2015, I have truly enjoyed working for this amazing company, with its high-calibre personnel & business ethics.
 
Everyone, from Day 1, welcomed me into the office, at Greenacres, in Callington, who I will miss greatly.
 
I felt the Company, the Group, and all its personnel were amazing people.

A good place to work with a good sense of community within the workforce. New management ethos has and is still helping to change the culture to become more productive and cost effective

I have worked for the company for nearly four years, at the start good, friendly, at the end nightmare!!! Poor management,poor personnel, twisted company. Need to be careful what you saying as there's even floor got ears and you never right even you are. Good luck to everyone who decide or works there

great canteen, co-workers are really friendly, good amount of breaks and staff facilities.

When People are troubled .late for working as per time

I enjoyed the team support side of this job. The management look after you if you are committed and have good employability skills.Work hard and you get a reasonable salary.

It is a very rewarding place to work. They look after staff that work hard and professionally. There are great opportunities to advance to what ever level you want.

Very poorly run by the management team,they are out of touch with the staff,the company employ managers who haven't got a clue,avoid this Company
