Working at Sports Co was a fantastic opportunity,
I had many great times and learnt many new things.
I learnt about feet, how they move and the different types of structures.
Shoes, the way they're put together and how different types of shoes can prevent further injury/s etc. 
All of the staff were lovely and easy to get a long with.
It was great that I could go to work with a positive attitude and mean it.
Everyone was polite and friendly and said things that would just make your day. typical day includes stacking new stock, helping customers and working together. The team is helpful and reliable and friendly.

- helping customers find a product they were looking for 
- taking store calls

Not allowed to speak to team members get told off if you do (even if it's about the products or discounts offered during periods such as Black Friday or leading up to Christmas). Very controlling employer and not a strong team with irregular shifts that get given to you less than a week prior (not texted). You may get one shift a week and then 4 the next or even 0. You get put in the spot and don't really get trained and learn as you go. Personally did not enjoy working there from my experience.

The workplace was not the best environment to work in - we didn't have a strong team, there was constant conflicts between the staffs, and the management was awful. The employer would focus more on individual sales, and would decrease your hours. You don't get paid for your training, and I was not properly trained. Only worked at SportsCo for a year, and I personally didn't enjoy working there.

Slow days, many customers would come in just too "look" not buy with big competition next door. Keeping store clean by wiping mirrors, sweeping floor, folding clothes, size running then and colour co-ordination. 
A smaller store is easier to manage than a warehouse but I just didn't find it challenging enough.

Sportsco is a good place to work. I worked there for 5 years. Everyone is friendly and easy to get along with and the enjoyment of daily work was great.

Sportsco was my families business, starting in the early 80's and developing into one of Australia's largest sporting retail companies. I personally had the best time, been involved in the running of our Greensborough store. From my view and seeing a high staff retention. It was a great environment to work and be involved in.

employer is very nice, but doesnt care for good work morale amongst team members, just strives for sales. 
very unhappy workplace, not allowed to communicate with other team members, managers do not make job very welcoming or enjoyable and no recognition.

Management was awful, staff was disrespectful and would frequently bully other staff. There were countless FairWork complaints made by some staff members- wasn't a great environment to work in.

Management refused to hire anyone other than casual sales assistants, as we were encouraged to "step up," also no sense of direction or anything other than artificial competitiveness being pushed onto workers.
