Was a company that environment, team dedication, management control, colleges, and work seemed to pleased to wake each morning to commence work and never seemed to have a day where you couldn't wait to get home due to the surroundings or treatment or workload etc. Its was a supportive welcoming team work surroundings and colleges just all did what required to have the workplace duties completed and running. Until New management was welcomed unfairly hiring previous work colleges and pushing old staff out or leaving them feeling unwelcomed and not valued. Lost that friendly team cooperatively attitude and environment that naturally embraced other colleges, customers or close relations of worker or subcontractor. 
Workplace bullying, victimization plus management has destroyed what was a excellent place to be employed and proud to work for.

A typical day would begin at 4:30am and finish around 4pm. My ability to inspire co-workers to reach their potential which led to some moving on to further their careers with other companies was a highlight. The most enjoyable part of my job was getting things done where others had either struggled or failed. Taking the CUB facility to a new level. Improving engagement of major contract customers by investigating causes of non conformance's and damages and assisting customers to improve their shipping methods to reduce damage to their goods. Reducing claims against SCT through thorough investigation of incidents and their cause.

plenty of overtime available at certain parts of the year, my day consisted of organizing paperwork for inbound freight arrival by locomotive. To allocate staff to the unloading process, to manage shed placement of freight and inventory control of priority orders. To maintain stock qty of utilities used on site(packaging,shrink wrap etc). To audit forklifts for compliance. I personally ran the weekend crew for both rail inbound and road transit outbound for about 4 years. Developed excellent time management skills due to train always being late but still having to make timeslotted deliveries.

I enjoyed my time at SCT Logistics and learnt a lot more about the Rail Transport industry. Also was exposed to temperature controlled   products industry. They provided training in this area which was a big advantage for me in gaining more knowledge about transport services.  

I also volunteered on the WH&S committee, I was then selected to the Chairman of our Sydney WH&S Committee. This was also a huge benefit for me to add to my CV.

Very hard place to work, changing procedures , not Trained , had to learn for myself , very harsh environment to start with , when changes and procedures been placed in , became a friendly and productive place of opperations , learnt to solve and stand by my self , just say and get done,was the hardest part , but enjoyed the time i spent at SCT.

Excelent place to work and very friendly staff, Great atmosphere ,well set out establishment.well organised business, It was good Helping the boys unloading the goods train and then going over the other side of the dock to load and unload the trucks

Not the best place if you are looking for advancement, but not a bad place to work. My time at SCT has been ok, but I am ready for something new. Its a good place to work if you are just needed something to pay the bills for a while.

Rail manager has not got any idea how to run staff and the raol very poor. Very unsafe with locomotive not having any safety divises work and air con has been tryingbto repair it for 12 months but money proceeds

fast paced environment

Everyone is so overworked and under valued, management has no idea what’s going on with their employees I doubt they know half of their names
Kept hoping it would get better but it never did, was a very depressing place to work
