a normal day working at royal per is usualy at a pretty quirt but also busy, everyone has their work to do and want to finish on time. on a busy day its no so quiet and definatly busy as we are incharge of the files and need to have patients files/documents  ready to be taken if there is an emergency of any sort.
the employees are amazing everyone know everyone and can talk to anuone and they always have something to talk about the would make people lauch, which really helps the work emvironment to be less stressfull and boring as it is very prepetitive.
the hardest part is just keeping up to date and how repetitive the work is, it gets me duzzy because i have to spend hours finding and soring out files.
the most enjoyable part would definitly be working with the employers there their just all so friendly and have such a good vibe to be around.

A typical day is always busy from start to finish. What I have learned and the experience gain are what can make me work in any hospital. The manual handling technique on transfer of patients, Rolling and positioning spinal patients, transferring patients from the helipad to the emergency department and Theatre, attending to emergency with Emergency team. etc

The management of Royal Perth have always been supportive to staffs in there development and also support family to balance family life and work.

The workplace culture have always been maintained. Respect for Individuals, Cultural background, Religion, Gender Equality.

The hardest part of the Job is seeing patient passing away and I taking them to the mortuary.

The most enjoying part is meeting people, family members of patients.

i usually worked from 5pm-7pm  Monday to Friday and 5pm-9pm on weekends.The thing I learnt the most is communication skills when working with other staff and scientists to give the best outcome. Beside that, problem solving is another skill I learn in my workplace.The hardest part of the job is answering the phone calls from patients,other hospitals and medical staff.Sometimes it is a bit hard for me to understand their problems and needs so I hardly to help them out but overall is still good. The most enjoyable moment is when I am working with the staff in Royal Perth Hospital as the staffs are lovely,friendly and helpful.

I enjoyed my career at RPH immensely because it exposed me to a wide range of experiences through dealing/relating to colleagues and clients. I enjoyed the responsibility of co-ordinating the Day Surgery Unit and liaising with management to ensure the unit continued to run smoothly. The hardest part of the job was seeing the suffering people had to go through, however I gained immense satisfaction in helping them to achieve the best outcome. The most enjoyable part of the job was working as a team to achieve the best outcomes for our Clients - I have many fond memories.

Disorganised, unprofessional and often chaotic environment to work in. Staff are in senior and management positions that they are inexperienced for and the rest of the work force suffers. Essentially zero standards, staff I worked with have repeatedly practiced in dangerous ways for years and management looks the other way. This health service is built on the culture of looking good on paper and audits, while ignoring important issues that directly impact staff and patient safety. 

During my 5 years working at RPH, nothing I can complaint about this hospital. The support I've been given just beyond my expectation. I managed to finished my degree in Nursing because the support I've been provided by the management 
I was a full time student with part time work and my roster of work was adjusted based on semester timetable. This support gives me huge motivation in my nursing career, to respect, work hard, keen to learn, and improve my skils in nursing care.

im always working in emergency department as a P.C.A -were transferring patient in bed from one place to another I have leaned different types of equipment in the workplace , say for example hoist, ecg machine monitor oxygen  @ others I can manage myself to do the task that he has given , the hardest part of my job is always busy in emergency sometime the patient is in the cue from st.john hospital ambulance  I will always enjoy my job coz I do care my job @ I love it thank you GOD BLESS COOL

Royal Perth Hospital ED was a very busy department. As this was ED shifts were 24 hour round the clock. I enjoyed patient contact, and being able to sympathise with quite often very difficult stressful situations with in family units as they passed through ED and then to other wards.
My line manager was great, and very humorous. I worked with a great team of Ladies as well. Overall an enjoyable time and I definitely gained further work skills along the way.

I had enjoyed my job during my working period of time in Royal Perth Hospital,good and very accurate assistance in time of needs,and I had learnt to make more fun and friendship with all the staff as the management are very cooperative as well.I do not find any hardship of my job as I know what Im doing probably and the enjoyable part of the job is having our time break with a friendly staff..

Work place bullying is rife, from people you work with through to management. Unless you are part of their purple circle within their team, you will find it hard to get hours due to management. From day one, both myself and others were ridiculed by certain fulltime staff. Management here promote this type of behaviour.
