I would start my day by helping all outlets setting up for opening,
checking in with Management to see if any staff have call in sick if so try to replace them, checking e-mails to see if night Super and Managers needed me to do any thing for them, replying to e-mails, allocating staffs work areas , helping out where needed in food and bar outlets.
I never had a problem with any of my staff or co-workers we all got on as a big team willing to help out at any time
Hardest part of the job was the shift work 1pm to 10pm Wednesday to Sunday
Most enjoyable part of my job with working with my team and talking to the customers making sure we kepted them happy

I genuinely loved working at the RSL, the only reason I left was to have my baby. If an issue arrises, management actually do something about it, but there were minimal issues when I was there. A great friendly environment amongst all departments. Great pay, exciting place to work with events that are on etc, great people that became really close friends for me.

I only did work experience there, but in that short time, I met some lovely people and gained invaluable experience and knowledge in the field of hospitality. The staff and management were all great and i was put at ease every time i did a shift

Great people just take everyone with your own perception not anyone else. Be patient as there are those that appreciate the place and be open to all customers.

It was a great place to work. I struggled with getting such minimal hours, I couldn't see myself progressing there either. 

If I could of seen myself progressing I would of stayed and if I had the hours as well.

you're usually guaranteed a decent amount of hours. the people you work with are really cool but sometimes management doesn't really pay attention to your requests or doesn't always get back to you about issues as soon as you'd like. that could be because they're busy.

Great company, but shift work pays a toll. 
I haven't worked here in 8 years so I assume a lot of things have changed. But I made life long friend and the team atmosphere is wonderful. 


My experience was all good at Rooty Hill RSL. Unfortunately unexpected situation occurred that ended.

I enjoyed the variety of duties of working in Hospitality as it provides more employment opportunities not just the same job like ground hog day.

Great company to work for. Boss and colleagues were caring, fun but also helpful when anyone was in need. 
Management were great and always understanding of our outside work needs.

A very warm atmosphere

A good insight into working in a Club environment
Customer focused
Staff were okay
No employment came from work experience
