What is the best part of working at the company?
For me, the best part of working at Rheinmetall is the combination of a supportive team environment and the chance to work on large-scale, meaningful projects. The culture encourages collaboration, open communication, and professional development.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
As a new employee, the most challenging part is the learning curve due to the complexity of the systems and processes. However, this also creates a great opportunity to develop new skills and knowledge.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The work environment at Rheinmetall is professional, collaborative, and focused on delivering high-quality results. Teams are supportive and knowledgeable, and there is a strong emphasis on teamwork and open communication. The culture encourages responsibility, innovation, and continuous learning while working on complex and meaningful projects. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
A typical day usually starts with checking tasks or priorities for the shift, followed by carrying out technical work while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. I often collaborate with team members, share knowledge, and troubleshoot issues when needed. Each day can bring different challenges, which keeps the work engaging and provides opportunities to learn.

Toxic environment. Very cliquish. No room to advance unless you become a favorite of someone German. Bunch of untrustworthy, disrespectful and rude Germans.  Some staff (peers) are good people but are unhappy. Poor management and unorganized. Senior management talks behind your back to not only other senior management but also your peers. Very unprofessional. Watch your back and learn to “kiss up” to the right people. Becoming friends with anyone senior management doesn’t like will make you a target. Was overall a very negative and disheartening experience.

It is a fast-growing company. The company is willing to invest resource to the areas that will help the company to grow. The management is trying very hard to keep work-life balance for its employees. It has flexible work arrangement to help employees from different situations. I enjoy my work. 

Excellent Onboarding and all staff are very welcoming. My direct supervisor is very approachable and very calm. The learning curve relating to product knowledge is very steep but there are numerous product experts who are very willing to run through what they know to provide support. 

Amazing peers, great managers, extreamly supportive team. Since its a defence company, if you do not have the defence background, you may need to do a lot of reading to understand the projects inside out which can be overwhelming, but you continously do get supported to bring out your best! One of my best expereince till date.

A very good workplace for both Freshers and Experienced workforce. Liked how a big organization maintains safe and secure workplace. Co-workers are supportive and excited to see state of the art technologies.

Team is very welcoming. I am still learning the ropes. 
Workplace culture is good and flexible work arrangements support worklife balance.

Completely new to defence, felt very overwhelmed at the start. Everyone is welcoming and happy to help. Flexible working conditions makes the difference.

Onboarding was excellent. Staff are all very welcoming and friendly.  Management is approachable. There is flexibility in working arrangements which enhances work-life balance,

Though only a recent starter, RDA has met all my expectations to date. The work they do here is extremely interesting and everyone seems very engaged and proud to be part of the Rheinmetall family
