Everyday's work is always a time to look out for , as its interesting working in a Ship Yard, as its rushing and fast moving environment.

i have learn a lot of new thing like mechanical and engineering knowledge beside my primary job as a supply supervisor, 

the co-workers are really very motivating and understanding to everyone.

the hardest part of the job is basically not an issue, as we take all the jobs for the day as a challenging part and do it positively.

over all the job is enjoyable if to be more precise on the enjoyable part is the planning of the distribution and the coordinating with the contractors and going for inspection.Onboard vassal

Being a reliable individual with strong leadership qualities, I was able to display effective leadership while serving the Navy. In my tour of duty with the Republic of Singapore Navy, I was chosen as the IC of my Quartermaster Detail, where I led a duty watch and planned duty-related matters. As a testament to my leadership abilities, I was also appointed as the Leading Seaman of Pontoon Company, where I led all the Pontoon Company Seaman in fulfilling their duties.

I was in a training institute since 1996. I began to be a junior instructor, teaching the junior trainees on their vocational knowledge. I was very happy working with a group of fellow instructors, we share happiness and sadness along the way. We help each other whenever there was difficulty. Spending my 31 years in life in the RSN, I have never regreted.

Has good career route installed if you are willing to put in effort. Work life balance isn’t bad as they have half-days/ offs to claim if the schedule allows despite the Long deployments.

Provided multiple opportunities in developing personal character, leadership and people-oriented skills. Route of advancement is well-structured and ample.

A organisation where you can disciple one self and become a full grown man with dignity and pride. Though tough at sea but enjoy the days at sea with co crew members. Eat sleep work together as a team member.

If you're looking for somewhere you can belong in if you're not the majority race it will be a challenge. Then again it is based on your department and also your ship. Work is fairly easy but there is no work life balance.

A normal routine filled with sailing out every now and then. and doing military service training, maintaining fitness 24/7. 

It is a fun place to be with as we have many friends surrounded with us while working.

Working in the navy, specifically in the area of security was not too bad, assuming manpower didn’t fall beyond a certain number.

The culture was more relaxed, but like every other job, there can be bad management.

It will be tough to find hardworking bosses who would flag out problems on the ground to the top bass. In our hopes for positive experiences, reforms and improvements to the stressful and guarded culture there exist in the organization.
