Working within a community who appreciates  our store &   friendly team of volunteers and manager as we appreciate all our customers donations and store visits

Not having enough space for generous donations and volunteers

one sided, not fairly run, no leadership in wagga office  very disapointing even for members that had been members for over 30years the volunteers worked 7 days a week no pay but was happy to do it for their community the paid workers pleased their self when to come to work and go home early  


A typical day at work has been stocking of items on shelves, pricing clothes and serving customers at the registrar. Working there has thought me many things one of which is how to use the casher. The workplace has always been friendly and employees just enjoy each others company. I have never had any hard times since I started. I am enjoying the job and so grateful to be part of the Red Cross community.

This is a meaning work experience because of this job allow me to get familiar with the application of many kinds of accounting software application and my communication skills get improved rapidly through directly connect with the local people and the team members. Thanks for this work experience.

Working at Redcross has given me good exposure of dealing with customers as well as working as an admin assistant. I gained a lot of skills being a good team player, building rapport with clients, Enhancing my communicational skills.
Work culture was amazing. very friendly and helpful staff.

Though time here has been limited due to ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, I have learnt numerous basic skills in the retail environment. Has ensured I maintain high attention to detail and bolstered my customer service skills. Additionally, friendly supervisors and workmates that offer positive affirmation and encouragement.

Try to update every week the advertised jobs, in order to encourage people to search on Indeed. Because I had some people complaining about left online expired jobs.

As a volunteer I was trained sufficiently and thankful for the checks even though that is a long process but once that was done, my availability was not an issue. Red Cross is great to volunteer as it gives back to the community which is very important in life.

I worked with Redcross to help young mothers from difficult socio-economic backgrounds. I was able to engage with the community and work with other like-minded people. 
It gave me a different perspective on working with vulnerable people.
