Working at Dreamworld was amazing. It was so much fun. I was constantly learning aswell. 
Typical Day at Dreamworld would start 30 mins before your start time.
Entry was via the security gatehouse, where we were to collect outlet keys - if needed. Continue through to the retail supervisors office, sign in and, pick up paperwork for the day.
Go to laundry area and collect your uniform, change and then collect daily float from cash office, and then continue unto outlet, open and, get ready for the day. Most enjoyable was meeting so many new people and, fun conversations.

In my daily task at work I do the following- Customer service, cash handling, stock control, merchandising, accounts, phone call, point of sale use, lifting/ manual handling, opening and closing of store. 
Everyday is a new learning experience about safety items that I have no knowledge of. The computer system is a learning tool everyday as there are so many ways to achieve the same thing. The manager is great with teaching short cuts on the point of sale system. The team work is great we all help each other to achieve our daily requirements.

Often I would arrive before the manager and have to wait outside for them to arrive. After a while, I was provided with access to open the store but was disciplined for arriving too early. Management didn't know how to effectively train new staff on the Point Of Sale system. No support from the area manager either.

You work from start to finish
Sometimes more that 8 hours
If staff dont come to work you end up working Monday to Saturday for 3 weeks in a row.
If Management dont like you you will be gone before you  know it.
Some people are bullies
The hardest part of the job will be the people in the company
Most enjoyable part was my customers and dealing with stock

Good working environment to work for and nice vibe. 
Unfortunately, pay is really bad and no increase in pay after years of services. 
Poor management and lack of communication.

a physically demanding job with a complicated computer system but i enjoy working here! staff members are very kind and thoughtful. fav thing so far about working here so far would definitely be the people

Business direction, KPIs and targets sorely lacking. Good employees are punished. No performance review, despite it being one of the companies main policies.
No loyalty or security.

Managers are supportive and flexible, patient and helpful when learning the ropes. Staff are friendly and thus is a comfortable work environment. Would recommend.

Offer you the world then when your three months casual are up. They make you go full time for minimum wage even if your a Lo/ forklift driver. Toxic people also 

Fun job to do at times, higher management are hopeless in resolving work place conflict, hours are not guaranteed when casual and there are no staff benefits whatsoever
