Always busy and productive.
I learned so much over the years; OH&S; operate certain cleaning equipment eg polishers.
Management was always approachable.
My co-workers were always good to work with but sometimes would meet some strong personalities that I had to learn to cope with-but would never allow them to hinder my work productivity.
Hardest part of the job-when a co-worker would bully me.
Getting a good report that I had done good with my cleaning and to see the results of my cleaning efforts. Not only that but when I could help others it was good. Too, when co-workers were ready to help me that was good.
Management helped to stop the bullying.

Full documentation required when transferring from NZ to Australia. I was able to apply and get all paperwork certified from NZ, before I got to Australia. Then it was a matter of finding out how to register with Queensland to make myself available for work. Relief work is easy to get, a permanent position is all but impossible!! I worked a full year contract at a school to be passed up for graduate teachers the following year. Thankfully I got another full year contract this year and have been offered another one next year at the same school. 

I enjoy working as a teacher, managing children and assisting them to achieve their educational goals.
I need excellent communication skills to effectively  communicate with children , parents and co workers.
My day starts at 7.30 and ends around 5.00. I  bring work home like lesson preparation and resource making and purchasing.
I need excellent IT skills in order to acces the curriculum, prepare and deliver lessons.
I have excellent time management skills.

Do not recommend working for queensland education department, pay is terrible for what you have to do, you get treated like 2nd class, there is no health & safety at all, your hours ONLY allow you to go from 1 building to the next, no allocated time for toilet brakes or to get a drink of water your hours are only for cleaning of buildings nothing else, payroll is always muching up pay.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Sorry not a good experience. I was posted to two very badly run schools who both had a high turnover of staff.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Behaviour management and lack of work/ life balance.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Poor culture, everyone looking out for themselves😞

Interaction and communication with students and parents made the day of work,
all the actors in education working together to inform and guide
the activities developed in the classroom. Respect for the differences and care in letting everybody participate was the key for a good learning experience enjoyed by the students and teacher.

I loved working with all age groups as a Teacher Aide. I especially loved working with disengaged youth. It could be very challenging but also very rewarding. Getting kids back to learning was the hardest part of my job. Watching them fall in love with learning was the most enjoyable part. Seeing them graduate gave me the greatest satisfaction.

Generally consistent across the state. Interesting way to retain staff by encouraging transfers and forcing staff to move locations. Work opportunities should be based on skills not location and willingness to go remote. 

Fantastic new school, with great staff and students. Excellent school resources and supportive administration/ leadership team. Friendly working environment.

Unfortunately after spending 4 years in this establishment i found it to be a very toxic society, with no way way of ever enhancing or furthering any sort of career
