A typical day at work is just handling merchandise and working with others to be efficient and fast moving in the sales of these products for the many customers there to buy mercy before, during and after the shows.
I learnt how to cope with customer service and understand what people want even if at times they can't communicate it to me very well. Moving fast and efficiently while doing it right is always the best.
The hardest part of the job is when it gets really busy and you just have to be on and going the whole time, also there are sometimes difficult customers that you have to learn to deal with.
The most enjoyable part is when everything is moving a bit slower and you can hear the shows, you can just chat and work at the same time and listen to what's going on inside the shows as well.

I like to work as a bar staff because I have contact with the public and this helps me to have more contact with English. I like work, because most of the time it's fun and joyful. What I do not like to work at Qudos Bank Arena, because usually the shifts are short and I prefer bigger shifts. But even being short shifts I like to work there.

Good place to work at and do different things everyday. Casually it is great and you can apply to work whenever you like. Management is good and understanding

Not a fan of management. Very strict on looking in the direction of concerts / events. 
Management hardly ever smile, or welcome you, it’s always negative, no hello just straight for covering tattoos, nose piercings or fixing uniform. (Collars sleeves) without even walking out of the dressing rooms.

Productive, fun interaction with all kinds of people in a modern venue, highly entertaining and focused on providing the best Customer Service Experience for Qudos patrons attending live events.

Not given regular hours as shifts available only at events which don't necessarily happen every week.
Managers very young. Often 18 year olds managing staff who are 20 years older. 

more assistance for new employees required. the arena did not provide any induction so it was difficult to know where to go, what uniform to wear, where the break room was, etc

I haven't even had my first day here yet. 
 But due to the likeliness of the work, I  know that it is something I will enjoy doing, as well as gaining skills for my life long goal career.

Everyone works well together, doesn’t make any difference in which department you work in. Management are very understanding and very easy to get on with.
