Joined with expectations that the workplace would be a good place to work at with clear and concise management/staff, and was mentioned to me that it would be a easy job.

However it ended up to be the opposite as you had to face the extremely poor communication skill of the managers and the cleaning team who didn't communicate properly with each other, which provided quite frustrating in trying to complete the jobs.

The managers failed to provide feedback on your performance to me outright, which is legally required to do so by Fair Work laws.

Training was barely provided, and you end up having the store that you were contracted to do work for, having unrealistically high expectations of what is your current skills. If you want people to do more, then pay us more than a minimum wage that is barely legal.

The store managers at Eastland were quite rude and treated me with no respect, especially for a upscale place.

Typical day at work, get there early , set up my equipment,
Check if the ward is full,  how many are going home.
Have meeting with the Supervisor, plan your day.
We have different cultures in the Hospital, so it is up to you how you interact with them.
The hardest part of the day, making  sure that everything is in place , incase you are all of a sudden you are asked to do something different,  and you can do  it with ease.
The most enjoyable part of the day is greeting everyone with a smile and a chat.

The friendly staff and the travel the hours I would love to be working with quad services again

It's great we all got a long friendly clean professional

Be there by 2pm work have a break then do it all again cleaning

I found the last 4 years working for Quad to be extremely stressful and disheartening. Managment rewards lazy incompetent workers and drives the good, hard workers out. The environment is highly toxic.
There is no opportunity to seek betterment of employment within the site I was sent to, and no support given by management to seek further education in the cleaning sector.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Nothing. Unsupportive. Unreasonable work expectations. Useless HR department!

Nothing at all. They dont do a thing about complaints. Hr is useless

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Cleaning toilets kitchens emptying bins detailing court rooms and offices vacuuming

I worked as a Leading hand for approx. 4 -5 staff 
We cleaned the offices, classrooms, toilets, staffrooms, etc
I managed the equipment and supply's 
and any problems I resolved them 
there wasn't a particular part of the job that was harder than the rest.
I also had to set the alarm and close up every night
The most enjoyable part of the job was the result at the end of the day.

Interesting portfolio, flexible arrangements, good pay, positive environment

Sometimes long working hours, some managers could be less experienced than others

Positive and supportive overall

Busy and dynamic, reasonable support and training. Immediate assistance when you have issues with IT.  Many people have been with the company for over 5-10 years. Supportive culture.
