We got made redundant recently becauce P&G sold of parts of their business to another dynamic business. I worked with this company for only 4 years and I would have happily retired with them if not for being made redundant. They have many staff benefits which we all took advantage off, like ordering fragrance, going to the staff shop to get heavily discounted goods, pension, share schemes, travel ticket annual loan and more.
Family life they will work around you as they are very family orientated. Management were very good and staff training was very professional and luxurious. I highly recommend this company.

A typical day at Procter and Gamble was working on a fast paced production line doing a number of different duties and also going into the warehouse to dispatch goods. I have learnt a great deal about the manufacturing Industry such as team work, Individual work, working at speed and working under pressure. Management were very helpful. My co workers were excellent and made going to work fun and enjoyable. The hardest part of the job was the speed in which we had to do work but something I got used too. The most enjoyable part of the job was to push myself to be more productive than the rest of my co workers.

I should not have left when I did. It was too early. I was there 8 years and got to a point of where the red tape was strangling me, in hindsight I should have just steered my way through it  as I had in the past, though I felt tired and stale. I loved working in the commercial channel for P&G, it was very left of field and required you to be flexible and versatile with all the different stake holders you could be speaking to.

A typical day at work is managing up to 20 suppliers using a variety of excel spreadsheets via Customer Account Managers & Trade Marketing Managers.
Liaising with a pre-selected group of suppliers to ensure product Qty and Quality delivery
Working with our Logistics supplier to ensure that all despatches are on track

The company is very autonomous which allows you to get on with your job. The systems in some areas such as mine are Excel based whilst needing to balance against a SAP system

Relationship building, Cost efficiences and delivery on time are key deliverables in my role.

I worked for 7 years and is a good company to grow and learn. I had 5 different roles and in every one of them I had many challenges. What I like the most was they always emphasized in ‘doing the right thing’  and it was 100% true, which made me feel really comfortable working there. 
You will have many responsibilities and you will need to be very organized and align your expectations with your manager  if you like to have work life balance, because it’s a lot of work.

Lot's of politics and tough assessments - forced ranking process and an up or out culture.

a good workplace and where staff and management had good working relations, I worked on skincare productions, where I learned alot about quality, HACCP and Computerised Machinery.
co-workers were very helpful and good communication among workers was very strong.management always gave time to speak with workers and everybody was entitled to have an input on how the company could move forward.

Unfortunately a very poor people culture with incredibly long hours and no work life balance, with average at best remuneration as a reward. I would not recommend working for this office - but I understand other regional offices have a much better culture

it is good to work with such a top fast moving consumer goods company, one can gain experience and knowledge in resolving technical issues also having good friendly environment.

Great culture build on highly engaged and high performing people. Some amazing leaders too. Amazing world class training and great brands. Unfortunately ANZ are local execution markets so P&L ownership and strategy was managed out of Singapore.
