What is the best part of working at the company?
Nothing..
They flog there workers with a constant overburdened of product...
You control your own work station so they take you to another to catch it up, then back to yours to clear the backlog...
And the pay is very poor

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Workload and pace of product coming at you...
Place is out dated ,so lots of manual handling and double handling

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Work environment seemed to be OK.. but I guess cause of diverse mix of cultures which keep to themselves in groups and workers to busy to mingle in work situation 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Non rewarding , a relief to leave the place..
And the killing of animals is disgusting

What is the best part of working at the company?
the pay is generally on time and correct

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Where to begin? staff who yell at others for no reason, and rotation times in certain sections are ignored.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Upper management is polite, but when costs need to be cut they come from staff- cheaper thinner work gloves, a 'flexi' roster that includes Saturday introduced. 

Inside the factory it's a mixed bag. Some people are lovely, others lazy and workplace bullying can be issues

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Busy. Regularly short staff, or staff quit quickly due to stress and work on moving production line

What is the best part of working at the company?
Working as a team. Training new comers learning from the new trainees 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
People not listening when they are been trained. Also lazy people 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It is great working with different cultures and learning there ways of communicating 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Working as a team also having laughs and communication friendships caring for other team mates

Management tells the fullime staff everything that is going on. With the coronavirus going on, the management was talking to fulltime staff who they were going to fire, then the staff find out from other staff they are losing their jobs. Pepes ducks don't care about there staff as they can get more staff, both at the factory and the hatchery. If you have a day off sick the Management tells the other staff why you are off. All staff are full-time or permanent part-time,  if you are permanent part-time your hours can be from zero to 35 hours a week.

At work there are 3 different Rooms.
Room number 1 is the packing room where we pack ducks into there right sized bags and also boxes.
Room number 2 is the gutting room where we take the guts out  by hand as they make there way to the packing room.
Room number three is the cut up room where we cut up the ducks into marylands seprate the duck parts, pack them into there trays wrap it and send it out to shops.
The best thing about work is team work, we all work together and help eachother out to get the job done quick and well .

never dreamed in my wildest dreams i would ever be selling ducks ,BUT i did.
the hours were based around retail opening hours at the beginning ,then i moved into food service where is was based around the head chefs schedule.
great clients ,great autonomy ,worked independently .
workplace culture was very unpleasant. No teamwork,no comradery,no empowerment from your managers and no company direction.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Night shift was the best to work there the night shift supervisor is awesome to work for

Nothing at all was stressful.

Awesome work environment and staff are always welcoming 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Pack ducks into boxes and load them into a truck or 2

At the end of the day i am very tired because the latest we will start is 5:15am . I do an 8 hour shift or more.
At work i have learned how good it is to work a a team .
The hardest thing about the job is gutting the ducks because it really does hurt your hands .
The enjoyable part about the job is working as a team, because we get the job done better and faster.
We are all such happy people that love to get along .

The job was alright at first but management and higher ups don’t care about you. I worked there for years and they only care about money. they don’t care about the state of the farm or it’s employees and expect you to multiple peoples jobs without additional pay.

It was the best experience I've had as I've never done that kind of work before, even though it was fast paced I loved to learn the different things about the Ducks and there Eggs.
