Usually are long working hours, but the biggest benefit of being busy is time goes very fast.
Similarly have learnt to work with speed and efficiency and handle and manage stressful conditions.
Its great environment to work and come across different nationalities and cultures.
Hardest part of job is being away from your family and after a particular period of time there is noting much to learn which will increase the knowledge.
The most enjoyable part is taking care of Australian and New Zealand guests who are very friendly, understanding, patient and great to be around and see new places around South Pacific Islands.

In my whole experience working on a ship is very challenging yet enjoyable at times when i get to meet a lot of new people each week and you get to have some friends too...there are days that are tiring and very busy,my working hours are fixed as well as the overtime,we do not have days off only regular short breaks everyday.Our accomadations and meals are shouldered by the company including our uniforms and laundry.Another fun part is i get to see places we visit for free.What i learned in working on a ship is  we have to be flexible at all times,be a good team player with workmates and a lot of patience in dealing all types of guests concerns as 'not all are easy to please but at the end of each day making sure that i did my best to do my job well.

Being a Piano Bar Entertainer is a great gig, there's no question. As long as you're ready for it, you'll have a good time.

A caveat: If you have substance abuse problems or an addictive personality, the boredom and culture of alcohol use onboard the ships may be an environment where you lose control. P&O offers every support they legally must, but it'd probably be easy to lose a few years of your life to the ships.

It's straight to work from the get go from all the trainings and cbts it was full on but definitely kept me busy and my mind off the fact i was spending the next 6 plus months on board a cruise ship but it was the best experience of my life the amazing people i worked along side was just a blessing and look forward to returning to ships

Working at cruise ship is fun and adventures, you get chance to visit and see new cities through out thew continents. Company pay for your training at good institutes at philippines.

Its a Cruise lines, good company to work with, good management. Supportive colleagues hardest part is long hours and no weekly offs. The most enjoyable part of the job was adventurous life and get to know different places all around the world.
