Ozescribe

I only worked for a week. 
There are some tricky parts to the job, but I actually loved the work I did. Feedback was great. 

What I couldn't get my head around was the pay for the job being done. You start at 5c per line and when you're new, there is no way to earn more than $10 in your first WHOLE day of work. With navigating around the new system, coming across things you just don't understand etc. 
How can they expect you to want to work for less than minimum wage? 
I graduated to Junior typist within a few days of starting. 

I did not want to pursue this job anymore, so handed in my resignation, giving two weeks notice, as stated in the intern contract that was signed by both myself and HR. I noticed files were taken from my pool, my program basically deactivated, I was deleted out of skype groups all before being notified that I had an email. In it said that my resignation had been effective immediately. 
That was not what was in my contract. 
I was totally shocked and repooled my jobs. 

I'm glad I don't have to waste my life sitting there typing for next to nothing, however, I did not appreciate such rudeness.

I feel positive when I work for Ozescribe, but the pay is depressing, especially when we are expected to go over each file multiple times at the same speed, not to mention the currency conversion and bank fees for working outside of Australia. Most of my coworkers are positive people and try to work together on the Skype group to solve a problem someone may have. Communication with my team leader is easy through Skype or email. QA gives me anxiety and some QAers are more into punishing rather than teaching, and I find that maintaining the 98.5% accuracy is a little difficult, but at the same time, do not think they are actually that strict about it in terms of penalizing, seeing as I have not been penalized for it if my accuracy was down for a month or two. I like Ozescribe, but would prefer a better paying job and will start looking for one that does not require I get carpal tunnel for less than minimum wage (and no health benefits to pay for that operation).

Sadly you will work very hard here for unacceptably low pay. You are a casual and can be dispensed with at any time with management changing the goal posts incessantly and this would be okay for an excellent hourly rate but not a low rate. You will need about 98.5% accuracy within 2 months (or so) and this can be difficult to achieve when new specialities are thrown at you. Its a shame Ozescribe will not state the accuracy rate required and employment terms on their website. Also you will have to do research of terminology, names and locations via directories that you will pay for. I wouldn't recommend a diploma in this field either because its not worth your investment and time.

What a pleasant surprise to recieve such wonderful upfront training with very useful how to videos and instructions provided. The team environments are excellent with always somebody online to lend a helping hand.  If you are happy to take on new clients and expand your specialties there is always plenty of work available.  I highly recommend this company and thank management greatly for the opportunity.

This is a work-from-home job that is very family friendly and you pick your own working hours.  You can travel while working as long as you have good internet service.  A good well organised company to work for but as you are paid per line, your wage can be low if you do not produce the work.

This is a great job for those who have a passion for learning and are able to think outside the box.  OzeScribe are supportive and friendly and if you have the commitment and drive necessary to make this job a success, they will help you as much as they can.

If you are not in need of a second income, this is a great job to do as fun. The pay is not great at all for the job that we do. It is stressful trying to make a decent income when you literally make pennies for lines.

I am able to work the hours that I prefer in may different medical specialties. The online team is great and very helpful. Many people around the world work for this company, which makes every day very interesting.

Largest problem with this company is that really talented MTs that type difficult dictations are not paid anymore than MTs that type easy dictations and churn out low quality work.

Ozescribe is a great company to work for. I have found out with being a Medical Transcriptionist that the pay starting out is not something I can tolerate.
