What is the best part of working at the company?
Meeting people outside of Omega Security. Unfortunately, I can’t say anything good about Omega Security as it is a shell of a security firm working under the Compass / ESS umbrella. Management are so far removed from the actual workers in the field it’s laughable. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Forget about ever speaking directly to anyone in management over the phone. It just does not happen. Pays are processed wrong more often than they are correctly and don’t reflect their own agreement either. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Again, not good. You might meet some other nice people out in the camps but Omega’s “Talent Acquisition Specialists” find all their new recruits from under the same rock which makes the possibility of creating functional team’s virtually impossible. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Eat, work, sleep, repeat. The work is easy, but lacks any quality “internal” supervision. There is also no means of progressing your career unless you wish to leave.

Working as a Badging Coordinator and Administrator for security activities Access/Egress to Site .
Reporting directly to site security manager for site Access/Egress issues.
Book-keeping , Filling and Record keeping office duties for any security activities. 
Accountable for communicating to all sub contractors to make sure all employees have Accomplished badging and Site Access requirement.
Assisting subcontractors for any training requirement to Access site.

I'm working with best and one of largest construction company in world. Not all about  the numbers but how I personally grow and develop my skills and knowledge .

What is the best part of working at the company?
No job security no support from supervisor 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The gossip and lies that were spread. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Not very good constant competition between staff

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I was ignored for most of it except the criticism from my supervisor for doing my job the way I was instructed and trained.

Not too bad, Management wise isn't the best and they really need to look after their workers more.

Job itself depending on which mine site varies, I've never had and issue with the work and I've made plenty of lifetime friends the workers have been awesome once again very experienced , hardest part is being away from family and significant events 
( weddings, funerals, kids birthdays)

I enjoyed the money and lifestyle.

One sided management who really don't care about the individual. Lets face it we are all just a number. In my 8 yrs working with them i could honestly say there were about 3 Supervisors i would classify as experienced. 

Management fly to site approx every 3 months and think that, by saying hello there job is done. Not interested in any issues on site you may have that are of a genuine nature. Complaints are seen as you underminding someone. 

There just out of touch.

12 hrs in the heat every day ,working with a wide diverse clientele. sometime hard to work with lazy coworkers who don't pull there weight. being able to have fun at work in a good team where all help each other to complete the shift the best we can. getting a good meal inside rest and talk to the girlfriend in Thailand when l can.

ok in most cases ( to diverse)

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
refreshing in the mornings and afternoons

The security industry is different to most other types of employment as you must for firm, fair and accurate with the client and customers. You have to be seen to be complying with the job requirements but not to impose on the comforts of the client.

Working in Roma as a security officer was a pleasure.
everyday duties where patrolling the camp site ensuring things where always in order. Talking to camp staff and workers making sure there health and safety came first. If I had this chance to do this I would do it all again.
