great day as I learn new things and skills everyday

This is the most friendliest workplace that I have ever become a part of. Although the job can get somewhat stressful during busy times, I feel that I am never overworked and the manager actually cares about me. I can easily request more or less shifts or can move my shifts to other days if I need to and have been treated a core part of the business image with a sense of respect. This will certainly become a job for me to look back on in the future.

Good place to work if you enjoy a fast pace waitressing experience. Once you learn how to do everything its simple work to follow. The staff are friendly and work as a team efficiently. Can be a challenge on some nights if you end up with alot more walks in than expected. Otherwise a great first job to learn, only downside is it might be hard to get extra hours.

Working at Okami was very tiring and exhausting and as a highschool student, it was very difficult to work after school and go home and study afterwards. It was a very fast paced restaurant, so I don't recommend working here unless you are good under pressure, stress and time restraints. A benefit was that before every shift, you were provided with a free meal and during the shift, you were able to take any soft drink from the fridge.

If you aren't 100% clear with your roles, you end up doing things many award levels above your pay grade, and they don't fix it

Ngl, wish they'd give more than a few hours notice for shifts.

May get paid part-time (i assume bc it's cheaper) when you literally work like 10hrs a week.

Shouldn't rely on highschoolers to carry the floor

Worked here during high school & the pay was very good. Unfortunately rude managers insufficient training & no sense of teamwork or community. Managers would speak badly about you and would make you feel bad if you didn’t get something first try. Good for uni students though. 

Worked here in high school and the pay was excellent for someone who was still quite young. I dont think that the good pay outweighed how toxic the environment was. Managers excluded you and belittled you. The training was extremely poor. Wouldn’t recommend working here. 

Working there was challanging as it is very busy place. But i get use to with and learn fast. i get experience of chef their. it was amazing. now i want to learn more

I loved meeting people from all walks of life and learning a new language from my new found friends and really good bonuses from the boss and great food.

The work environment there is generally ok.But only Chinese work there and their English is not very good, although it's enough to communicate. The salary per hour is pretty low at the beginning
