I would start my day off at 6 am organising priority orders, replying to emails, book couriers for the priority orders with Australia Post, assessing the clients returned goods, handling product placement within the warehouse using RF guns and everyday I was doing internal orders for the company. One day per week I would report to my inventory manager.

I loved working with my colleagues. The co-workers were easy to be around and were very helpful whenever I asked them for help.

The dynamic of the job as I was always on the move as well as orginising or helping co-workers. This was the aspect of the job that I loved.

I help to key in various school orders that the Sales executives have achieved in getting from schools. I emailed it back to them in an internal format, I help check and edit any corrections to be made. A second more professional quote is sent to the executive via email, and he then emails to the school for confirmation of the order. When the okay is given, we prepare a Term of Trade agreement that the school signs and payment is locked in. The order is then given to the Warehouse for picking, packaging, and delivery. We also assist in tracking that the order arrives according to schedule.

A typical day at work is engaging with key stakeholders for business innovation ideas, building business cases and initiating projects (approved business cases).
Engagement with project team members to progress the project implementations in progress and key stakeholder report preparation to communicate progress.

Excellent location in Richmond, Melbourne with great cross functional friendly teams with a can do attitude.

OfficeMax staff are generally warm and friendly with a can do attitude and innovative thinkers.

A typical day at work would be using electronic pallet movers, pick packing of stationery products and labeling the boxes and doing production line work. 
I learnt quite a few things about warehousing during my time with officemax. 
the management was great and were always supportive. 
my co-workers were a great bunch of people who were fun and friendly which made the working environment fantastic. 
the hardest part about the job was the big orders off picking slips which had to be done in a certain amount of time.

Started 7am, finished 3pm. Debriefed on priorities regarding workload and deadlines. Learned new inhouse systems. Management flexible with work hours as long as work allocated was completed or work in progress within specific timeframes. Workplace culture professional, fun, always encouraging teamwork and providing ongoing training. I did not find anything hard about the job. Enjoyable part - the people, ongoing training learning new skills, the work, feeling valued, achievement recognition. My only regret - not being able to work there permanently.

Strong emphasis places on sales with category expansion and bringing in new business primary concern. I enjiyed not being micro managed and reported back in only when necessary for company updates for profiles. My independance was great working on a call cycle on a daily basis with administrative duties normally carried out once a week. I was able to gain information from key specialist when required to help close a sale or advance a opportunity to gain new business.

my last job was a great company to work for, driving on mine site stocktaking, ordering, tidying, delivery of stationary, discussing stationary needs and requests.
Learned to drive in and around a busy mine site around large machinery, I worked alone for 12 months at a time I was the face of my employer.
Carrying endless cartons of paper up stairs would have to be the hardest part of the job.
Interacting with the many different people across mine site was one of the best part of the job.

US Multinational business that has just gone through a global merger. High staff turnover has left the business with a new leadership team that was rebuilding an under performing business.

I have the ability to learn fast and adjust to new surroundings, to follow instructions, procedures and complete assigned job on time, to work with multinational staff, work independently and communicate well with people.
Work well under pressure.
