hygiene at OSI is VERY poor, from sharing work boots to a untidy lunch room and females toilets that was always unwelcoming with the smell of dirty laundry. The management of the place is slack, the communication they have for new workers is poor. they do not explain the job clearly and there is no actual help. working at OSI i learnt a lot about respecting others and just what hard work really means. the hardest part of working there would be the smell but eventually you get use to. the most enjoyable was definitely the people, just a few good people that really helpful and genuine that made work easier.

I have been working  for this company  for 2 1/2 year and have learnt  many skill from raw meat  preparation including  verification  of the raw product   to working in  the packing  side of  process  working   .The management of this company  is very supportive  and are willing  to work  with  you  to help out with all of your work requirements  . The hardest  part   of this job is the distants from my current  place of residence   . The most enjoyable  part of this  job is the people  who  work there  they  are  all  willing  to  give  you a hand or  teach  you  things that help to acquire  new skills  or ways  of doing  things

a typical day when everyone turns up for work and there are no break downs .
I learnt how to pack and run machines and unload trucks and re-load trucks
I learnt how to write time in management 
the work culture was all different cultures and everyone got a long with every culture.
the hardest part of the job was learning all the different jobs in the place that they wanted us to learn.
the most enjoyable was meeting everyone I worked with because the actually become family to you after a while

We were directed by Participatory leadership.  Management provided feedback on the quality of our work and any updates on new products forecast.  This provided a space for us as a team to evaluate our own work and contribute to feedback.  The feedback was also supported with training and planning for new products.  This type of management which I enjoyed - brought the best out of me as a team member and our team.

A typical day at work would be palletising processed food i learned how to run the entire floor meaning i could do everything unsupervised the hardest part of the job would be trying to fix any breakdowns, being in a factory something so small can lead to being big in the end and the most enjoyable part of the job would be at the end of the shift and waiting to see how much we did for the day.

hectic is the daily norm.

Very experienced people in all facets of the production.
Guess they shut the place down because experience doesn't come cheap.

Management team is focussed and always committed to the cause.
No room for BULLS%IT!


Bit disheartened redundancies was given to all, However, one door closes and another one opens.

Typical day was preparing stock for the day’s production and running the grinding area.
I learned all aspects of running a high-quality food production line.
Management was approachable and easy to talk to and would listen.
Workplace culture was relaxed and easy-going.
The hardest part of the job was the cold.
Scoring high on product competitions.

Very fast paced workpklace. Loved the team environment and the feel of being part of a growing and improving team. Would work here again if needed  but its time to move on to something else and to pursue other career paths.

While I was working there I've gotten along with most of my co-workers and it has a neat and tidy work place. The restroom was at it's best hygienic state and the lunch are had a fair amount of space for everyone considering the amount of people working in site.
