The management at oppizi is terrible. They will fire you without any prior warning and the city manager will then say that its because your "results" for their stone age marketing offer is not good. The pay is big LOL! You have to take out time from your day to collect the flyers from their warehouse in city and they don't pay you for that and for the travel of various location. Lastly, the manager will keep on nagging you because you are not able to get "sign-ups". They say that they need people with "sales background" because apparently distributing flyers to the public requires lot of sales skills and marketing knowledge. Lastly, they will somehow manage to blame you if you are not able to get sign ups for their brands, because of their old age offers. 

I have worked for this company in Sydney, Gold Coast and Brisbane. I am currently located in the Brisbane branch. I enjoy working under my current management team who are very flexible and understanding. The BA position allows me to schedule my own hours to fit around my studies. They have raised the wage per mission which helps but it still doesn’t cover the cost of living unless you kill yourself doing 2-3 missions per day.
However some improvements need to be made such as training BA’s to progress to higher positions if they show interest. Even better pay, bonus’s or incentives. More team building activities or staff parties so the staff can bond and get to know each other. More appreciation shown towards BA’s.

I have worked for Oppizi in Brisbane. I enjoy working as a flyer distributor because Australian are very friendly even they reject to accept my flyers but I would say quite a lot of them are willing to take the flyers. Also, the management team is very supportive, friendly, understanding and flexible. I particularly like the management team is very supportive to us and we have trust. For example, they are happy to relocate us to busier locations if we find the locations are quiet. The team is very responsive and efficient so we always can get any problems sorted immediately. It’s nice and enjoyable to work with the team. I am currently a student, the flexibility offered by this job is perfect for my study timetable. 

The task you must carry out in this company is quiet easy and boring at the same time but the main problem is that I was working with ABN, as if I was self-employed and it is not true, so the salary that I the employee receives is very low and the conditions are really bad.

Another problem is that there are some hours during the week (between 3 and 4) that you must go to the storage and they are not paid, so basically you work for free.

To sum up, this company is a shame and I quite irregular, even illegal I guess but they take advance of students and inmigrant people who do not master the language and do not know the australian law.

As a Brand Ambassador at Oppizi, an atypical day at work happens when there are sudden location changes, weather issues, or unexpected customer responses. I learned strong communication, confidence, and teamwork while promoting the brand. Good management provides clear instructions, support, and motivation to perform better. The workplace culture is friendly, energetic, and team-oriented, making the job enjoyable. The hardest part is approaching strangers and staying active for long hours. The most enjoyable part is meeting new people, representing the brand, and successfully engaging customers with positive energy and professionalism.

They advertised for letterbox pamphlet distributors and needed to get an ABN.  Once joined, only one letterbox distribution mission was advertised and it was taken by someone else.  
All other missions were hand to hand giving out pamphlet missions at shopping centres etc. Management sent a message that if I did not accept a mission within first two weeks my job would be revoked.  Only one letterbox mission available, turns out the work was all hand to hand giving out pamphlets which is not the role that was advertised. Waste of time applying for ABN!! Access to App removed after two weeks!

Average hourly rate always stick to the national minimum wage or even lower, unprofessional administration team (who always sitting in the office and keep asking unrealisable questions like: it is very easy why you can’t do it), and the current city manager, who treats brand ambassadors without any basic respects. 

If you wanna work as flyer distributor simply choose a local employer instead, where you can at least been respected like a human.

Worked as a brand ambassador. Flyer pickups are not paid and I spent approximately 2 hours of unpaid labor transporting the flyers from the warehouse to my place. Had to travel to far places with no extra travel compensation as they are the only available shifts given.

Pay was reasonable for entry level with no experience but there are no career progression or proper guidance.

Management was strict and harsh. Did not consider anything about workers' wellbeing, health and salaries. They only care about the KPI and nothing else.

I've been studying full time for the past 4 years and have been working at Oppizi as a brand ambassador. I can create my own schedule based on when my classes are and work as a flyer distributor or letterbox depending on where I am in Sydney on any given day. It's full of young people and you get to work across loads of different brands aswell as use their offers when you like them.

I wouldn't do this forever but throughout the past 4 years it's been pretty good for earning money every week while studying

I don’t find it stressful, I have enjoyed the process and the work itself.
