Great benefits and room to move around if you have the right skill set.

NG treats each of the sectors like independent companies with red tape at every step if you want to cross sectors.

AS has good programs and programs that are overly micromanaged.  The issue is that upper management micro manages so severely that they can not keep track of daily decisions made at every level and your target moves regularly.  Middle and lower level managers are not provided the resources to get done what they are responsible for and ultimately last a short time due to frustrations.

Pros: Apparently improved over the past 5-10 years. Great people at coalface. Pay reasonable with yearly raise. Sideways moves/secondments. Training/development possible if you chase it down yourself.

Cons: Bonuses meager. Individual experience dependent on manager.  Prehistoric systems/processes. HR difficult at best. Management a revolving door (usual defence contractor stuff).

Northrop Grumman has bought up many companies over the years including TRW. Their benefits are not quite as good another companies I've worked for.  Raises are not quite as good either though perhaps times are tough right now.

Used to be good. Now due to change in Management, the culture is not good. Good leaders have been sidelined and there is a coterie. They only want to listen to what they need to hear

Been with Qantas Defence Services for ten years ; had good times . With this last gifted aircraft , work has slowed down . Final stages .

Very corporate, nice enough people. Very corporate business orientated. everyone is really driven and works really hard. it was an okay place to work.
