Nine

as a previous CSR working for their call centre, we thought it was initially sunshine and rainbows. The people who took on our induction were very kind and patient, they we are beside us each step of the way.

until after the induction, everything just falls apart. The team leaders expect you to know everything off the back and leave you in the deep end. They expect you to problem solve every single thing in the right way and expect you to work like a dog. some team leaders were very kind, some team leaders were lacking empathy.

I believe Nine is a great place to add here’s some skills and knowledge but it is not a career path you want to stay in long-term. 

It is a good place to work, a typical day will start slow (unless something happens) and will be busy from the afternoon onwards when the journalists have their story's written and ready to be cut.
The news room is run well, & everybody is great to work with. There's isn't really a hardest part to the job, being under pressure is hard but it enjoy it. The most enjoyable part of my job is that I have a passion for what I do and love to create the best I can, and want good quality to the finished product. Its an achievement every story and especially Today Show stories. Which take much longer & I can be extremely creative with them.

Nine was a great place to work, it had lot’s of Studio Production, lot’s of Sports to work on. Great Management. It was a family. It has since become run by accountants who couldn’t care less about people having Careers. Also in a couple of cases Senior people have suffered long term serious life threatening illnesses. Nine 
We’re very supportive through these Illnesses, but basically demoted these people on return to work, and refused to provide any Training or Career Development. They then gave these people forced redundancies and under paid.

Typical day at work is rigging lights all day and setting up truss and whatever odd jobs there are for entry level factory hands such as myself. Learned a lot about the industry and a lot about how good tape is for real. Management was great, workplace was always a good vibe, always feels super busy but it's great. Hardest part is probably lugging around 60kg lights, best part is probably doing followspots, was a crazy experience.

My role was Executive Assistant to both State and National Sales Directors. The role was demanding while rewarding. Great team leadership and workplace culture. Moto was, work hard, play even harder. Potential to excel and grow in a large company, however ownership of junior roles was highly respected and valued more.

In my role as supervising editor I was responsible for the day to day running of my department, liasing with clients to obtain the best outcome for their product and training of staff. 
It was a very rewarding job, but unfortunately in 2017 because of the Nine Network sale and restructuring the work that my department did was outsourced.

It was poorly managed, people are not so friendly within Campaign Ops team. Difficult to communicate with colleagues and managers. Not accepting of all

Channel 9 was a fun place to work. The people were wonderful and the work was challenging.
Problematic management seems to have been resolved since I left, and the atmosphere and culture seem to have improved.
Employee benefits and pay could be more representative of industry standards.

Great friendly people in the workplace. Felt relaxed and fit right in straight away. Job was a little demanding at times and was relied on to learn someone’s job who was leaving within a week which was challenging.
