You are always greeted by the friendly admin staff, the services are always well maintained and professionally cleaned at least 2-3 times per week taking the additional cleaning away from educators who can then focus on forming beautiful bonds with the children and families.
Nidos 'One Team' approach is evident throughout the services with the whole team working as one instead of individual rooms. 
Lots of work being done to support educators who are interested in studying Cert III, Diploma or ECT.
Over all, a workplace I'm excited to get up each day and give my all as this is what I receive in return from my co workers.

Nido is committed to scaffolding children to become confident and capable through empowering children to become global citizens. I have worked at two Nido services in WA and both have upheld high standards of quality care through a collaborative and supportive environment.

Poor management and a toxic workplace culture !!!!! staff were often treated inconsistently, with clear favouritism shown towards certain employees. Support from leadership was minimal, communication was poor, and concerns were rarely addressed. The only positive aspect was working alongside a few wonderful colleagues who supported one another. After years of service at the centre, there was absolutely no recognition or acknowledgement when I left !! . Significant improvements in leadership, fairness, and staff wellbeing are needed. 


Supportive company who provide driven staff with a fantastic platform for personal and professional development. Visibility to the C-Suite, who listen to everyone's views and take all suggestions onboard. Fun teams and friendly employees with great diversity, including some fantastic female leaders.

Ratios are not maintained as there are no back up staff if someone falls sick. Kids especially in the nursery area are left unattended a lot of times. 
No proper care given due to lack of staff.
Due to being constantly under pressure there's no time to build a relationship with kids. Noses running, kids rolling on the floor crying, but not enough staff to attend to the needs.

An amazing company to work for that is authenitic in their decision making. They stand up for children's rights and the entire service revolves around children, families and all steak holders! If you are a passionate individual and  want to be apart of an amazing community with room to grow in the industry Nido is for you!

I worked at NIDO for nearly 18 months but after a change of manager end of last year, I found the practices and management to be completely unsupportive, disrespectful and lacking in care for the existing staff.

Fantastic team in the actual service, great director and management team. Higher management don't care who you are our offer any support. 
It's the team in the building you stay for, and the families, not the actually company.

Terrible experience. Had to buy my own resources. Management never noticed all the work and positive aspects regarding interactions and connections of teachers with children and parents.
The company is more interested in self promotion, making a centre look designer faux Reggio good.

Stressful every day, management played favourites and gave them good starting and finishing times, rarely went home on time, spent more time cleaning and supervising than actually spending time with the children and getting to know them on a personal level. The most enjoyable part of the job was the children.
