eft me deeply disappointed and concerned about the quality of care provided by both the nursing staff and doctors. From the moment I arrived, it was evident that the level of professionalism and compassion was severely lacking.

The nurses displayed a stunning lack of empathy and attentiveness. They seemed more interested in chatting among themselves than in attending to patients' needs. Calls for assistance often went unanswered, leaving patients feeling ignored and anxious. Medication errors were alarmingly frequent, causing unnecessary discomfort and worry.

The doctors were equally underwhelming. Their bedside manner was cold and detached, lacking the necessary communication skills to put patients at ease. It felt like they were rushing through appointments, barely taking the time to address concerns or answer questions. Misdiagnoses and inadequate treatment plans only exacerbated the frustration and distress.

Nepean Private Hospital is a very busy private Hospital in which patient care and safety comes first. A typical day at work can consist of patient care, notifying doctors of any change in patients condition, organizing pathology collection, chasing up pathology results, changing dressings, looking after pre-operative/ post-operative patients, checking emergency equipment, tidying work station, checking vital signs, documentation and mobilizing patients. 
I have learned so much at Nepean Private Hospital including basic patient care, customer service, clinical assessment skills, correct documentation, working effectively with a team, communicating with other members of staff and management. the hardest part of the job is looking after palliative care patients who cannot be saved. The most enjoyable part of the job is working with a team to save lives.

Avoid at all costs. Management is toxic and detached, leading to an unprofessional and unsupportive working environment. Gossip and ward politics play a large role in the day to day functioning of this environment. Furthermore, this hospital uses paper documentation, compromising patient safety and significantly increasing the workload placed on nurses. 

My experience at Nepean Private is terrible. Im only working for the money. The nurses are very judgemental. The management is unsupportive and shallow. I have heard management discussing other nurses with random staff members.

There is  a significant lack of integrity and honesty from the executive at this hospital. Very little support is given to managers and/or staff. Toxic bullying culture is driven by senior leaders and makes this hospital a very bad place to work. Beware!!

Constantly have to do pay queries as they never pay correctly and then it takes about one month to get paid correctly 

Executive leaders were ineffective and toxic. This flowed down to the department managers creating an unpleasant environment.

The clinical team within the OR is fantastic and provide exceptional quality care. 

Working at Nepean Private Hospital was good to experience as everyone was welcoming and was able to assist you when needed. I really enjoyed assisting the chef to prepare meals.

The management was excellent, everyone was understanding and welcoming. The work was fun and the environment was happy and friendly. I only worked there for a little while, but thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
