Advertised job as Administration Assistant but I was the only Admin, only in training did I find out that I would have clients to manage, was not told in interview. Once training was completed I find out I was to do a HUGE number of tasks as well as any tasks that other team members could not complete themselves. The team leader would most of the time exclude myself when speaking with staff on information to do with work i.e. if a system had gone down, I would not be told that it was up and running again, I would only find out if a) I myself went to open to check if it was still not working or b) asked if I had inputted information and stating that I could not due to system being down then being told it had been working for some time. I was made to feel as I was not part of the team due to being ignored most of the time at work.
When area manager came to discuss the issue of the tasks I needed to complete were not all getting completed in the day, I was shocked to be told of a list of tasks I was never asked to be completed from my team leader and then given four and a half days to start completing all tasks each day or be terminated from company. I was then told on the fourth day that they had to send a review through to HR to decide if I was to be kept on or not. 
The last week and a half with this company, my partner and myself were completely stressed as to not knowing where I stood with this company. 
When I was terminated it was done on telephone, not in person which shows that NEATO Employment Services is not the family company that they pride themselves to be.

Take on this employment for a job only - while looking for a better paid job with better conditions.

Due to remote area, there is no hands on assistance when it comes to computer software or network failure. 

There is no work health and safety officer on site and the actual office requires a major overhaul in relation to all things OH&S. There are also no fire alarms or sprinkler system - and no alternative exit (other than front door) There is no staff common room.

There are only 2 staff in the office, and considering the clientele we deal with (x-convicts, drug affected job seekers and job seekers with mental health issues) when a staff member is off sick the remaining staff member is on their own which is a safety concern. There is also no duress alarm.

Management require staff to follow a strict communication protocol which is counter productive (considering our remoteness) 

The pay is below award wages for the amount of knowledge and experience the staff have - but NEATO can get away with this because you are required to sign a contract agreeing to the substandard wage.

Despite meeting and reaching set targets - staff are told they are not eligible for a pay rise increment as the case load is to small. Staff are also expected to take on 3 roles for the lesser role's wage. The wage and conditions may have something to do with the high turner of staff.

Don't need any experience to get the job which is good. The training is very basic. 

There is no motivation to perform to a higher level as the pay rises are very minimum and there is no commission structure. The pay in comparison to some of the clientele is minimal. The company does not value its staff. No incentives, no staff team building, no funding for staff parties. 

If you come in and work hard, or come in and do nothing you get paid the same. The KPI's for pay rises are achievable and pay rise every six months is an opportunity for about $20 to $50 a fortnight more money. 

Management does not back their team. The recruitment process for new staff members is so average that it's detrimental to the whole team. Supervisors are selected on the basis of "best of the bunch" as they try not to recruit externally for these roles. The leadership team has been there forever and has no motivation or drive. 

The company needs to learn to value their staff. The turn over is incredible and job satisfaction is so very low. 

If you are looking for a job where you come in at 8:30, do a basic job and go home at 5PM this is the role for you.

A typical day:

- 2 x Daily 5 minute breaks (timed and monitored)

- Up-to 4 hours of miss-management per/day with either lack of workload, lack of initiative and senior management meltdowns... DAILY! 

- I witnessed multiple staff be publicly berated for simple things like Spelling mistakes or sending an email without "Asking for permission"... 

- Senior Management have a deep-routed hate for their own CEO along with slandering previous and current staff in meetings.

The worst company I have worked for.

I have enjoyed my time with Neato Employment Services, I loved the team that I work with and how they functioned as a whole. I was promoted in my time with Neato to become an Employment Advisor. My most favourite thing about working with Neato is the fact that in my employment I had the chance to deal and work with people from every walk of life and to be able to assist them in some sort of way, whether it was to get them into full-time employment or it was helping them to overcome non-vocational barriers. The only reason I am choosing to resign, is that I am relocating to Brisbane, to have a fresh new start in a new area. Overall my time with Neato has been pleasant.

Stressful job, no support from management, toxic work culture, negative office politics, company does not look after their staff in any way, shape or form. Extreme stress and pressure to be left to deal with on your own. 
This industry is not for anybody who is empathetic or hates confrontation. You will be forced to say and do things you never thought possible. You will hear peoples stories that will break your heart and be expected to move on from it immediately as it's just another day in the office.

On a daily basis I do data entry for all staff which includes Recruitment Manager, Area Manager. This also include use of excel spreadsheets, daily use of outlook, phone calls to employers and other staff members throughout the company, answering job seeker enquiries and booking in appointments into a government diary. Im well organised and prioritise when needed.

It was an alright place to work. The coworkers themselves were fantastic and really easy to get along with. The targets and KPI's and workload for the ES's can be intense which then would lead to them trying to take advantage of the admin staff and get them to do parts of their job for them. The workload towards the end of my time there was bordering on ridiculous, I was going to be forced to have a second caseload whilst only being paid as an admin assistant, on top of my normal workload. 

They use you like a pawn
The job you interview for, they can change on you at the drop of a hat and you can’t object-  your at their disposal - because you’re completely disposable 
Although at first they seem professional The company is unethical as they’re all trying to exploit the industry 
Sunshine Coast management is one of the worst I’ve worked for in 20 years. 

Always a pleasure to work with professionals in the business.  To experience and liaise with customers, and cliental over the phone or in person. A completely different aspect of life and living. Definately creating jobs and practises safe work policies within government standard to create a happy work life balance
