Toxic work culture, management are unapproachable, nearest toilet facilities to site are 200m away (breach of regulation) and they refuse to put any in closer because of cost but perhaps they need to cut costs in other areas to accommodate for this. Technicians are not trained properly and the work is done very haphazardly. As an employee you are purely there to make up the man power they desperately need due to the high turnover of staff, and your skills and experience are overlooked and doesn't seem to be any possibility of developing any further. I was asked to leave my previous job as soon as I could so I could get to site to help with the huge workload, asked last minute to do a double swing to which I agreed then no word about my flights or mobilising to site until a few days later when I was told I wouldn't be starting til a month after my original start date. This was over the Christmas period, I have a mortgage and kids to feed and they refused any compensation for lost time.

Trying to motivate reluctant employees then getting constant negative feedback on the way you try go about it or the way you try to complete any task.

Good foot in the door, which I appreciated, starting as a trainee truck driver pay was pretty lousy considering hours worked

Morale is very low, some mine workers dislike you if you are FIFO, the reason some of us are FIFO is because locals didn’t want to work for the company, we’re all here to make a living doesn’t matter where you live, 

The day to day work was great.  Good people, good immediate management. Trying to grow too fast was a problem but they seem to have settled that now. Flexible to a large extent and on a general basis enjoyed my time there

Worked with some great people but attitudes of some management towards their team needs drastic improvement. Approach to health and safety was also very average - needs more action less talk. Salary was mid-range and there were opportunities for promotion and to move between sites.

No proper plant induction. If you ask a question they make you feel inferior. As a new comer, you would expect some sort of support in your role.  You could easily be forgotten at the office by the people who meant to take you to camp.

bad management very bad, staff were good i think they treated it as a holiday camp to put up with the people in charge who had no idea except knowing how to procrastinate and not take responsibility
