Arrived prior to start time so as not to be rushed
Always got busy doing my job and noting what else needed attention
Preferred to have supplies topped up and available
Organized my work area so that it was not cluttered or risky for us
My last team member had a similar attitude to work as me which made it easy to work with him
I did not enjoy working with people who were not thinking about what was going on around them and slacking off when ever they could
A good day was when everything flowed and the trucks were on time
I had a good relationship with management - they were considerate

Murray Goulburn was like a family when I first started, but eventually it had to be dragged into the 21st century and went from a farmer based company to a multi million dollar corporation.   I loved Murray Goulburn's staff.   We were all friendly and we still get together yearly for a reunion, at which we get about 40 of the old staff..   We had a very good relationship with our clients and mixed very well with them at functions.   I did enjoy my time with Murray Goulburn.

Very toxic place to work with management and production over riding safety of persons health and wellbeing Bullying is rampant. 

Work life balance terrible as shift rotation is one in every 4, as lacking in people and skills.  

No chance to develop or transition in wage positions and training is very infrequent to further your skills base.

Wage is not to bad but is well below other industries in the area and job security is flippant as it is determined by seasonal and environmental changes to milk supply.

To keep machinery and production running. observe products to ensure no foreign objects or unsealed bags. Help out different parts of the production. Learned to work as a team member, How to operate machinery, and making of the products. Good work place culture. Hardest part is longs hours and night shift. Most enjoyable part of the job was working with other co-workers.

It was a great place to work, always had something todo. Majority of the co - workers are great work in teams and are very helpful and kind tho it would had been nice for the supervisor incharge to notice all members and to be organised as theres always people swapping positions in areas we were validated to. Which confused the rest of workers with rotation through out the shift and smokos.

Murray Goulburn wasn't a bad place to work for, I'm sure it's not the worst. The people I worked with where nice enough and I got along with most of them, being there so long I got to know most of the people at head office and around the site. Management at MG really need to look at where the company is going and what direction they want to take it to now most of all.

always something to learn keeping .to many bosses with no hands on experience.Sometimes hard to get your point of view across at meetings .keeping active throughout the day with a lot of different problems to be fixed keeping the brain active

Was excellent  until two years ago when company restructured and brought in a middle management structure. This changed the workplace greatly with things becoming very cumbersome. meeting new people day to day was a good thing about this job. Fellow workers at the local level were great to work with.

Jobs are given on fixed term so you're not financially secure and there is no guaranty of work next season. A fixed term job is not a safe gamble because you need to find work after your contract runs out.

great people to work for, very caring. MY day would be enjoyable, you are always learning something with the job, Mangagement are great, work mostley with men, find them great guys, the hardest part is training new people up, Lve working on Machines and the people i work with.
