Mothercare

In the morning we would have a morning meeting to see what the day held for us so I would have to go through with the others what had to be done that day and who was doing which job. Then once the day began sat with each one to see where they were up to and if there were any problems that they needed help with or anything thst they did not understand. Then I started on the emails and phone queries from the customers and worked on the loyalty program with issues and updating informatrion.I reported to the Digital Web Manager and my co-workers and myself worked together to get everything done and had a bit of fun along the way. The hardest part of the job was when there was a complaint that was no handled well and I would have to deal with the issue and find out why it had not been dealt with sooner. The most  enjoyable  part was the customers and their enjoyment of the product or the tales of their children antics. Then at the end of day would fiinish what  was left hanging and make a list of what had to be accomplished for the next day and report to my RM.

Open and close of business. Customer service was a priority, listening to customer needs and many questions. Dealing with pregnant women is very different to dealing with any other customer. To get in and do the work not just deligate, to be a hands on manager. To move into a team that had been together for years, and be apart of that team. The hardest part of my job was when we were told our store would close, and telling customers that items that were ordered would not come thru. The most enjoyable part of my job was to see that customers return with their new borns, as we had been apart of that from the day they found out that they were pregnant.

Managing day to day running of store . Tasking to minimum to allow great customer service . Use of staff to when needed and within payroll budget .  Right people at the right time in the right place . Keeping visual merchandising to a high standard with a commercial flare . Thinking outside box in order to meet targets . Controlling stock and shrinkage . Working with the team and leading by example .

co operating face to face with customers on a daily basis, management changes from time to time and has improved. co workers are friendly and we all get along nicely. most enjoyable part of the job is helping new pregnant mums to buy baby stuff and also things for new mums and getting to share pregnancy experiences and every day challenges of looking after children and babies, and also rewarding as some customers come in to show off their new baby-a real treat.

Stressfull uncertain environment with little accurate communication from senior management as to actual company viability The hardest part of the job is being able to supply customers accurate information. Coworkers very stressed about future.The best part of the job is the banding together of staff to achieve sucessful outcomes.

Loved working at this company, your hard work was appreciated, and seeing the customers and their new babies brought me great enjoyment. you were given the opportunity to learn different areas. The hardest part of my job was accepting the fact that Mothercare had gone into administration.

So lovely to work there, unfortunately it is closing but the management are fantastic and all the staff are so nice. When i first started i was very shy and quiet but now my confidence has built so much and i owe everything to this job, company and staff.

My review on Mothercare  would be that they were so kind and caring they treated everyone who walked through the door with respect and kindness they were a great place to help/volunteer at.

I have loved every minute i have worked here. I am sad that it is closing down. I could genuinely say i loved my job and hope that i can find another one that i feel the same way about.
