Learned how to use a diverse range of machinery to enhance my
finishing work, in this role I learn how to be efficient in 3 In-house Systems along with working knowledge of most Adobe programs.

My direct boss will a wonderful person we had a great mateship,
and although it was only a small shop the staff worked well together.
We helped each other achieve all deadlines which is commonplace in the work place.

This was a very enjoyable role no down side really

Never ever boring, always something to learn or someone to help

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
making unrealistic deadlines. We usually managed it, but when artwork is late being given manufacturing still takes the same amount of time. It could lead to stress

Fun environment where team input is encouraged and valued

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Run through the work in progress with the design/production team. Client meetings, business networking, Trade associations, charity events deliveries. Research new products & opportunities

I greatly enjoyed my 3yrs7months at Minuteman Press Thornbury, I gained invaluable experience in customer service, office support and account management. 
Any typical day at Minuteman involves working and progressing about 20 or more different projects towards completion and updating each client on the progress of their job. 
The most enjoyable part of the job was learning something new every day and that no two days were the same.
My co-workers were exceptional people both professionally and personally.

Time at Minuteman Press Penrith was demanding in that there was a lot on and only one employee to do it. Although, the friendly family environment made up for the stress and deadlines.
With the place going under new management in the past 6 months, organisation and skills have lost its touch and jobs weren't being handled in a proactive way. Although the new management were still kind and forgiving in time needed off, etc.

This business always focuses on meeting. The customer needs and giving them an honest product at a great price. It can be fulfilling if you have a good sense of creativity and always focus on putting the customer first.

Work hard, play hard. We all get in to get the job done. We do all types of jobs, from photo copies, offset printing, digital printing, promotional products, through to design work, signage the list is endless. There is rarely any down time at Minuteman Press Abbotsford.

I spent 3-4 weeks working here for experience. I had many awful experiences however the one that I felt was the worst was having my boss encourage me to wear revealing clothes to work while “marketing” to clients. Overall I found my time there humiliating and degrading.

Place is run by people who have hi-powered day jobs, they consistently understaff and micromanage. Big contracts pile up, and they didn't even have a dedicated copy machine for walk in customers. Be ready for people to get frustrated at you.

A varied workload from digital in the front office to the factory with 2 two colour offset machines plus guillotining and all finishing

was able to gain experience and knowledge within my chosen industry. 
 was able to improve my skillset and gain practical knowledge while enjoying the whole experience
