Responsible for handling all problems related to the guests in coordination with other departments. 

Responsible for conducting quality inspections on rooms, outlets and service employees in coordination with the Quality team. 

Greeted VIPs and Tower guests and escorted them to their rooms.

Acted in any emergency situation as per hotel emergency policies and procedures. 

Spot checked on employee’s appearance, uniform, grooming and all revenue and profitable areas.

Responsible for maintaining the logbook to record all incidents and to be submitted daily to the Property manager for review.

Provides information to guests in a courteous and professional manner 

Complete knowledge of policies and procedures in emergency situations

Deal with guests for all enquires

A typical day at work for me would be to come into work on time check my emails and duty log from night before if anything major happened and my internal flag report follow up on any payments outstanding and need following up. 
At 10:15am I will start calling departures to check on what time they will be checking out and if they need a little bit longer.
From 11:30am onwards we get quiet busy with people checking in or having maintenance issues to follow up on
By 1:30pm If any rooms that were not ready because housekeeping were still cleaning I will follow up on the statuses off the room if its ready.
My team is amazing and management are so supportive but the reason for me looking for a new job is to get out off the hospitality industry

This company is by far one of the worst that I have ever worked for. The salary is very low compared with other companies, you are also treated just like another number and there is very little job security here, the motto from management is that you should be grateful for having a job in the company rather than feeling upset with the horrible working conditions. 

I would not recommend to work in the head office at all as there is a yearly rotation of 20+ people that are sacked every year (even if you have worked there for 15 years)

The work here is difficult, exhausting and sometimes stressful. But the whole housekeeping team work together through any obstacles and help each other when possible. My manager, supervisor and co-workers were all hardworking and friendly; also a fun environment to work in when the day is not too busy.

I have got chance to know about the work load. It was always good to  work at Meriton because this place mainly focuses on quality of room serviced and guest complaints are taken as valuable comments to improve further. The hardest part of the job is favouritism culture which I have failed to maintain because I believe in hard work rather than buttery words. The most enjoyable part of my job was my payments and my shifts.

Great experience that had a busy and fast paced environment with supportive management, A company that helps you strive towards success and helps develop and grow you as a person. Its a great company to work for if the Hospitality industry is what interests you.

I wanted to continue but I quit
because I started studying at Tafe and 
as a student visa holder I couldnt work full time any more.
They didn't hire me as a Casual employee.
I would definitely work there again if they asked me to.

Great place to work but company do a yearly layoff. Very professional and great training. I rank this place highly. This place is a great company to work for if you are seeking counselling career.

i have got a great opportunity to learn the hotels responsibility towards the guests and got a best platform as how to better communicate with different peoples from different country.
