Be a part of team Meriton Service Apartment Zetland is one of experience that i could not get in every where, the place i worked has a good environment, relaxing even though sometime we have to rush due to busy time on the hotel, while working here i could understood well what is call a "work as a team" and helping each other. I worked as a Room Checker with duty to deliver a clean room with a high standard as a 5 star Hotel. The job might look easy but when its comes to the job we have to put the attention to detail and that is not easy as it looks. the most enjoyable here are just not checking the room but we could have a conversation  with the guest which is can that our services is good enough for them or still lack in some part and we will try to maintain the lacking with the proper training and try give the best.

everyday is little same in the morning while doing daily task like allocation. Many things learned in different shifts managing housekeeping team, deadline to cover all rooms before checking times, training new staffs, managing HSK budget, ordering amenities and stuff for hsk. Working and reporting to housekeeping Manager and helping learning Manager's duties which help to running hsk team work. communication and request handling from reception.

o Vacuming Carpet, Mopping, Wiping Floor(Park, Basement, Terrace, Rooftop BBQ) each Building, Tidy and spraying aroma garbage room.
o Clean, No complain
o Subordinate
o Greeting in the morning, Busy walk around
o Push time, Overtime doesn't pay extra
o  own the storage room, recycle trash into useful thing, Sharing Basement with Shopping center

i work from 7- 5...i learned making bed, clean the skills and how to cope with the manual handling task...the management system is so strict..should always be punctual..the hardest part of the job is that i do not get the pay for all hours i work...after working almost 9-10 hours i get the pay of 4-5 hours..the most enjoyable part of this job is talking with the guest and enjoy with friends at break.

Meriton is a well knowned 5 star suite apartment with over 100 properties around Australia and working here is a good opprtunity for any individual but workload is too much considering the pay we get. But overall management is good plus team members are good as well.

excellent service, productive and friendly staffing along with manager, exclusive facilities and they give importance to individuality, flexible and very co-operative. One of the favourite destination for accommodation to those who travel to Australia.

If you want to progress your career and want to go through fixed package then Meriton is best the place to work , however, no benefit for room attendant and sup who is hire direct through agency. So not recommend

Typical type of work supervisors making sure that you are doing your job. Management doesn't pay attention about staff's motivation at all they give importance to customer not employees.

it is a godd reputed appartment service.however,room attendent have too work for long hours but can not get pay for whole working hours because they pay on room basis.

money was good, good people to work with, just the bosses u have to work for. only  thing was working from 7 to 5 everyday saturdays was working 7 to 2.. so alot of hours not much time at home.
