I will say both positives and negatives of working for this company.
Very hit and miss here. Some people are very lovely and work well in a team, whereby others do not (maybe too busy) and there was one girl I worked with when you said good morning to her she wouldn't say anything and would give you the silent treatment. Flexible on hours which is good so you can plan other commitments that for sure. I liked that aspect of the flexibility in the role. Salary is in line with industry standards, I've seen other roles in other companies give higher rates. A big organisation that has room to improve, grow and advance into other roles or higher levels in job opportunities. Worked in a team which had a stand-over worker who secretly bullied me. On reflection, I wish I had the confidence to report her. Car parking can be hard as locations are city or inner city but great for public transport users. Management is good and support you well. Lots of personal development if you like that kind of stuff.

I would never recommend this place. The only thing I took away from it is learning how to identify red flags in management and workplace culture. This was actually a highly traumatising experience for me and many others who have all since left the job. Very high turn over rate due to unsupportive team leaders and operational managers. In fact, unsupportive is too passive a term, they would instead double down and put blame on all case managers for not being able to maintain unrealistically high and complex workloads.
The only enjoyable part are you coworkers who are some of the hardest working and caring people I've met who despite experience were also broken down by managements oppressive practices.

There are support mechanisms within the company I worked for therefore I have no regrets whilst I was employed with this company in 
I loved working for Melb City Mission as there was flexibility with my role and the anime t working alongside my colleagues and young persons I advise that as a case manager and outreach services requirements to visit young persons outside of the office 

Since the day I have started working with Melbourne City Mission i have never felt that I have made wrong chose in taking a position with MCM. Because I personally always felt that my managers are with me to support me, when I was down or any family when my kids were growing up. so I am very thankful and proud to be a MCM employee.

 I am currently working  at Doreen  early  years. I am so happy that I am part of Melbourne City Mission  as a childcare educator. It is a great place to work,  friendly  staff.  I am really happy with my director and assistant director  they are really amazing people to understand the situations and  staff needs.

Melbourne city mission is a great place to wirk and get a lot of support and on going training for sraff. Good pay and healthy work ethics.  I  worked with the organization for over 1year and still working with them but wanted to explore other area of mental health so i am looking forward to something more challenging.

No career development or support from management, a lot of false promises from management, it was extremely disappointing and I hope changes have been made for the better.

Bad culture and poor support of staff very unethical behavior and attitude from the top down. Absolutely no care concern or regard for clients exposing them to potential harm.

The palliative care team are a fantastic team to work with.  Very knowledgeable and productive. 
Management are very caring and considerate of each person individually. 

Great team work! Some poor management decisions led to the demise and closure. Most people were wonderful  but recruitment slacked off at the end which led to a less invested workforce.
