If you are starting out as a receptionist with no prior experience, it is a great place to learn the base skills required for working as a medical receptionist. However, if you have prior skills and experience, do NOT take a position under this company. The micro-managing, increased pressure and lack of support from head office is atrocious and lead to at least 2 mass exoduses of staff whilst I was working there alone. The pay is insufficient for the amount of work done and the expected amount of work hours are incredible. If you want a great starter experience, apply, but if you are experienced, stay away. You are better suited to a business with competitive pay and hours, and that treats their staff fairly.

Managing a team of Doctor's, Nurses and Medical Receptionists.
Making appointments for patients and resolving patient issues with a satisfactory outcome.
Also manage other Allied Health services, Dental, Physio, Podiatry, 
Great team of Co-workers and the hardest part of the job is keeping everyone happy but once you know the team it is achievable, and very rewarding.
The enjoyable part of this job is the high energy, fast pace we work at, and having to think on your feet the entire time.  Also being able to assist patients with their needs of Health Services to the best of our ability as a team.  We work very well together.

Not a good place to work at all. Manager is incompetent rude and unhelpful. Does not support staff when needed and only focuses on negative criticism, micromanaging to the extreme, creating a very toxic work environment. Shift work is not as expected as Part-time and often ends up working 6 days due to short staff. Constantly understaffed and no move to fix this. Doctors are rude and unreliable as well as no time management skills for the most part. Would never recommend working here. Oddly bleak staff room with staff often eating lunch in the storage room instead.

Cannot believe that a health care clinic can function like this. Management were degrading and were purely financially driven. The hours were long, the pay was laughable and the expectations were ridiculous. 

The admin staff turnover should speak for itself! 

Don't even consider working here- it's not worth it. Many people cried in their cars after a shift. 

As the title states, the doctors were fantastic. However, senior management are quite the contrary. Money greedy company. Felt undervalued and unappreciated as a nurse by senior management. Had to leave due to toxic work drama caused by senior staff members - in fact most staff left because of it. Also, I hope they've stopped making their nurses do silly notice boards instead of proper clinical work.

three words: disconnected, overworked and underpaid (for the egregious amount of work and ability to multi-task).

patients were lovely and they were one of the reasons why i kept going.

i honeslty feel like the company/management is biting off more than they can chew with the amount of workload and stress myself AND my staff at the time experienced.

It is extremely difficult to work at this company. There is no response to your requests from the head office, the administrative staff are overworked, and the office managers are usually incompetent. 
Most doctors are pretty good, though somewhat biased in their views.

Fast paced front reception.  Great team and supportive management.  Learning as you go.  Lots to learn in regards to billing codes and Medicare  rules and regulations.
Great work life balance. Great shift hours.

Enjoyed working in many aspects of the business, ie from corporate businesses to managing directors personal entities
Getting along well with clients/consultants/staff
Great company for my personal development growth

I only lasted a few months in this role before quitting and not returning due to the management and the work load and pressure I was put under. I was always expected to do more then my role was supposed todo with no thank you or anything.
